What do you think the next Cliffhanger will be? Given that Inui has a fetish for motorised ledges and 180 transitions, it's likely going to be the same in the future.
Knowing Inui, the first ledge go back and forth like the second ledge of the Cliff Dimension. For the second ledge, I think he will probably make it sideways or something.
For the name, I will probably call it Ultimate Crazy Cliff Dimension

I was thinking like a cliffhanger carosal. One where a ledge is spinning in a circle.
Another idea I had is a cliffhanger drop, where when one does a 180 degree transfer, the ledge would drop down. Now how cool would that be.

I was thinking like a cliffhanger carosal. One where a ledge is spinning in a circle. Another idea I had is a cliffhanger drop, where when one does a 180 degree transfer, the ledge would drop down. Now how cool would that be. Those are both pretty neat ideas and ones I've thought about myself. The carousel would be cool but it absolutely can't have any element of RNG or accidental desyncing, because instead of merely making the obstacle harder like the Dimension, it would make certain scenarios flat out impossible to complete. Like if the next ledge you're supposed to transfer to is completely vertical and won't become horizontal until the ledge you're currently on becomes impossible to hold on to due to the rotation. Knowing Inui's habit for creating obstacles that..... don't work, I'd say have static ledges in between the rotating ones just to ensure impossible scenarios don't happen. Re the drop ledge, this honestly is probably the most likely iteration, especially given a certain buff to a certain obstacle I can't talk about on here (yes, I know it's ridiculous at this point but I don't make the rules), and would be a decent stab at increasing the difficulty (albeit unnecessarily at this point but it will happen regardless) without introducing more motors or more 180 transitions, which I don't think anyone wants at this point, and at least in the case of more than 2 transitions, there's not really enough space on the course to allow for that anyway. I'm kind of ambivalent on 180 transitions, because they have somewhat turned Stage 3 into a fair bit of monotony with several competitors' careers having stagnated there for years by this point, but it's become synonymous with Sasuke among the majority of the fanbase in Japan and is effectively a marketing tool. They even have Cliffhangers with 180 transitions at those Sasuke festivals that happen over the course of the year. Getting rid of them in favour of something else wouldn't be optimal from a pragmatic marketing point of view.
