Nice. This was something I wanted to do but given my lack of knowledge of randos from Sasuke 1-4 I couldn't be bothered, and looking at some of these results that there's no way I would've gotten, I was right in my thinking that I'd get most of them wrong, lol.
I was initially quite surprised at how 19 and 36 had no former clearers until the 70s, but then thinking about it a lot of the Golden Era regulars had quit before Shin-Sasuke, and 36 had Hioki higher up than usual while the other typically low numbered competitors had been culled by that point, with the Black Tigers being recast with new competitors after Obata's..... wrongdoings.

I was astonished when I discovered that the 26's competitor was a rando from SASUKE 4. The damn huge amount of randos from 1-4 completely disappeared after Akiyama's victory, and then Kazutaka Kitazawa suddenly reappeared in 26 after 12 years and 22 tournaments lol.

My favorite was reading the competitor list for 37 when it was being taped (they used to release numbers during taping) and seeing Omori as #4 lol.

And unsurprisingly Saikawa will dominate this list in the future.

Kind of not surprised by Hioki and Saikawa placing in this list multiple times. Reason why is because Inui liking putting them early in the competitor roster, to ensure an early clear. Makes sense why they would appear in this list multiple times. Also kind of not surprised with competitors like Iijima, Kinnikun, and Akiyama, but for Akiyama he's close to blind so it makes sense. I guess the biggest surprises for me could be Yoshinaga and Kazutaka, but then again they both made one-off appearances at the time of them competing. Also, they both got cut from the main broadcast, unsurprisingly.
