For each tournament, I added up all the numbers that cleared Stage 1 and then I divided the total by the number of clears.
1.SASUKE 6: 470/5=(94) 2.SASUKE 35: 731/8=(91,375) 3.SASUKE 5: 272/3=(90,66) 4.SASUKE 15: 613/7=(87,57) 5.SASUKE 36: 1300/15=(86,66) 6.SASUKE 21: 780/9=(86,66) 7.SASUKE 14: 1201/14=(85,78) 8.SASUKE 17: 943/11=(85,72) 9.SASUKE 26: 856/10=(85,6)* 10.SASUKE 18: 507,5/6=(84,58)* 11.SASUKE 33: 1085/13=(83,46) 12.SASUKE 24: 1000/12=(83,33) 13.SASUKE 13: 831/10=(83,1) 14.SASUKE 16: 1324/16=(82,75) 15.SASUKE 32: 660/8=(82,5) 16.SASUKE 19: 165/2=(82,5) 17.SASUKE 12: 897/11=(81,54) 18.SASUKE 11: 885/11=(80,45) 19.SASUKE 9: 548/7=(78,28) 20.SASUKE 30: 2071/27=(76,7) 21.SASUKE 34: 1820/24=(75,83) 22.SASUKE 22: 379/5=(75,8) 23.SASUKE 23: 1209/16=(75,5625) 24.SASUKE 29: 1583/21=(75,38) 25.SASUKE 7: 599/8=(74,875) 26.SASUKE 31: 1270/17=(74,7) 27.SASUKE 28: 366/5=(73,2) 28.SASUKE 40: 1720/24=(71,66) 29.SASUKE 38: 1003/14=(71,64) 30.SASUKE 37: 710/10=(71) 31.SASUKE 20: 213/3=(71) 32.SASUKE 8: 410/6=(68,33) 33.SASUKE 27: 1824/27=(67,55) 34.SASUKE 10: 333/5=(66,6) 35.SASUKE 25: 714/11=(64,9) 36.SASUKE 4: 2250/37=(60,81) 37.SASUKE 3: 785/13=(60,38) 38.SASUKE 1: 1333/23=(57,96) 39.SASUKE 39: 779/14=(55,64) 40.SASUKE 2: 1763/34=(51,85)
* In SASUKE 26 Travis and Brent are supposed to have worn #74 and #83, respectively, but their real numbers are still unknown (I'm relying on SASUKEPEDIA) * In SASUKE 18 Takeda had no number and ran between #86 and #87. I decided to use number #86,5 in the calculation

For each tournament, I added up all the numbers that cleared Stage 1 and then I divided the total by the number of clears. 1.SASUKE 6: 470/5= (94) 2.SASUKE 35: 731/8= (91,375) 3.SASUKE 5: 272/3= (90,66) 4.SASUKE 15: 613/7= (87,57) 5.SASUKE 36: 1300/15= (86,66) 6.SASUKE 21: 780/9= (86,66) 7.SASUKE 14: 1201/14= (85,78) 8.SASUKE 17: 943/11= (85,72) 9.SASUKE 26: 856/10= (85,6)* 10.SASUKE 18: 507,5/6= (84,58)* 11.SASUKE 33: 1085/13= (83,46) 12.SASUKE 24: 1000/12= (83,33) 13.SASUKE 13: 831/10= (83,1) 14.SASUKE 16: 1324/16= (82,75) 15.SASUKE 32: 660/8= (82,5) 16.SASUKE 19: 165/2= (82,5) 17.SASUKE 12: 897/11= (81,54) 18.SASUKE 11: 885/11= (80,45) 19.SASUKE 9: 548/7= (78,28) 20.SASUKE 30: 2071/27= (76,7) 21.SASUKE 34: 1820/24= (75,83) 22.SASUKE 22: 379/5= (75,8) 23.SASUKE 23: 1209/16= (75,5625) 24.SASUKE 29: 1583/21= (75,38) 25.SASUKE 7: 599/8= (74,875) 26.SASUKE 31: 1270/17= (74,7) 27.SASUKE 28: 366/5= (73,2) 28.SASUKE 40: 1720/24= (71,66) 29.SASUKE 38: 1003/14= (71,64) 30.SASUKE 37: 710/10= (71) 31.SASUKE 20: 213/3= (71) 32.SASUKE 8: 410/6= (68,33) 33.SASUKE 27: 1824/27= (67,55) 34.SASUKE 10: 333/5= (66,6) 35.SASUKE 25: 714/11= (64,9) 36.SASUKE 4: 2250/37= (60,81) 37.SASUKE 3: 785/13= (60,38) 38.SASUKE 1: 1333/23= (57,96) 39.SASUKE 39: 779/14= (55,64) 40.SASUKE 2: 1763/34= (51,85) * In SASUKE 26 Travis and Brent are supposed to have worn #74 and #83, respectively, but their real numbers are still unknown (I'm relying on SASUKEPEDIA) * In SASUKE 18 Takeda had no number and ran between #86 and #87. I decided to use number #86,5 in the calculation Interesting how low 39 is here, given that the entire bottom 6 were either early tournaments where numbers were kinda randomized, or 25 which had a lottery. I guess the dispersion of competitors throughout the lower numbers, as well as the rain which prevented a lot of higher numbers clearing, would've been why. The spreading out of competitors in recent tournaments is quite evident though given that 38-40 also came pretty low on this list. 10 being as low as it was was also an anomaly, with a resurgence from competitors who hadn't done well recently, while no one in the last 20 runs cleared except Yamada. 27 is predictable as that tournament was also basically a lottery except for #96-100. Not really surprised about the top 3, given that those tournaments were bloodbaths and all of the stronger competitors were situated firmly in the 90s. I kinda miss tournaments where no one clears until the 70s-80s because it really hypes up the suspense as to whether the stage is even possible to beat, though I understand that it's awful for ratings. But yeah, even as someone who finds Hioki's performances pretty predictable and boring, him being the first clear in 35 was dramatic given how much the Dragon Glider pummeled the field until then. And then we didn't get anymore clears until #89.
