Just some thought that I have: Could current modern Shunsuke still make it to stage 3? I kinda hope he does given the talents he has. Also, how would shunsuke from sasuke 29-33 do from sasuke 36-41? Could he have went far? Beat the cliff dimension maybe?

Absolutely, currently he is struggling with Spider Drop, which shouldn't be anyone's ceiling. I think with more consistency and less injuries he could easily get there. The question is if he could reach Cliffhanger, though if Wasabi could then its likely he can too.

Personally, I'm going with unlikely.
Shunsuke doesn't train anymore, which is understandable given that he now has a family and his brother's health issues, but it doesn't change the fact that he hasn't trained regularly in 5 years now. From what I've seen, he'll go to like one session at Matsuda's before the competition and that's it. I've never seen him train at Gio's course. It actually goes to show how athletically gifted he is with the fact that he cleared Stage 1 in 40 despite being out of action for so long.
Re Stage 2, I can't see him clearing it currently given that he's just too slow. In 40, he only had about 30 seconds left when he failed the Spider Drop, and you need at least 45-50 at that point to have a reasonable shot at clearing in time. Hell, even 32's variant, which was arguably the easiest in the entirety of the modern Inui era, he only cleared with about 5 seconds left. He's one of the bigger competitors which works against him on Stage 2.
Assuming he trained to the level that he did, say, pre-36, I'd go with.... 36: same result (seemed more like a freak accident than anything else which can happen to anyone) 37: Cliffhanger Dimension (Stage 2's TL was lenient) 38: Reverse Conveyer timeout (can't see Shunsuke beating a Stage 2 that Yuuji and Hioki failed) 39: Sidewinder or Swing Edge (assuming by this point he would've overcome his Spider Drop block) 40: Cliffhanger Dimension (assuming he would've trained for the new Stage 3 obstacles)
Ultimately, he's only in his mid-30s, spent most of his life as a pro athlete, and as mentioned is incredibly athletically gifted as shown by his ability to clear Stage 1 with next to zero training, which imo shows that if in an alternate universe where he did have the time to commit to more regular training, he could still do really well.
