It's quite amazing that so many women are in last 20 numbers during Kinniku Banzuke Era.

There must be someone after 40s in SASUKE 16 for women. Maybe just been All cut. I'm not really sure which women compete in this tournament, because some of the numbers gave to former baseball player. For SASUKE 42, I guess there's 16 women and 2 foreigners: Women: 5 Yabuki, 15 Matsuda Kono, 24 KAREN, 33 Murai, 34 Takiwaki, 41~43 new coming women, 45 Higashimura, 46 Kaede, 82 83 women athlete we don't know, 84 Izumi, 85 Oshima. 4, 28 are rando women. Interestingly, 8 makes to Dragon Glider, 12 makes to new area. Rest of them either failed at Rolling Hill, or Fish Bone. Highest Foreigner will be Rene at 89.

I honestly wish they would fill the 70s-80s with more women on the course who could genuinely do well, like a trials process with the best three qualifying for Sasuke.
Inui seems to have a baffling over-reliance on Ayano, to the point that when she started competing regularly, he massively increased the time limit for women, coincidence? I think not..... Even snubbing competitors like Hikari Izumi, who, being a parkour expert, has a legitimate chance of clearing Stage 1, maybe barring her height (I believe she's like 4'11).
The issue is that for a while Kunoichi existed, which obviously meant that most strong females would train towards the standards of Kunoichi rather than Sasuke.... international females are as strong as they are because since those competitions started, they were forced to up their game to those higher standards, which is why competitors like Jessie are as capable as they are, making it deep into Stage 3 on Sasuke. Combine that with the fact that there's only like three spots for athletic females, one of which is religiously allocated to Ayano and another two to celebrity pro athletes, and I can imagine it's super disincentivizing for new female competitors to want to train and apply to compete, because the selection process for them is so stringent, bordering on non-existent.
Imo they need to have maybe 2-3 slots for new female competitors and a trials process by which to select them, to encourage more female competitors to train to the standards of Sasuke knowing they might have a shot at taking on the course and potentially clearing Stage 1. The over-reliance on Ayano arguably hasn't paid off as she's only cleared once out of like 7(?) attempts, so imo there is definitely a need for new competitors to step up to the plate.

Poor katoshiho who every time puts Hikari in the middle only for the latter to be as if she didn't exist for the evil Inui. If all Inui's love for Ayano was due to her friendship with Tomohiro, another competitor historically adored by Inui? Jokes aside, it's good the fact she's always invited because she's a popular and also nice competitor, even she's a bit overrated, but it's time to invite some other important Japanese women with some chance of clearing and not rando athletes who anyone don't care about, in fact they are almost always digested. And I found the time limit of the women rather embarassing, and despite this there are still some competitors who time out halfway through (KAREN coff coff, another competitor who seems gone out of fashion), which in comparison HIKAKIN is Usain Bolt.

However now KAREN is no longer slow anymore. She actually increased speed in those years, can clear Rolling Hill in around 35 seconds. I'm always put Izumi Hikari in my list is because, hey, Inui, Oshima need a rival, a Japanese woman rival to make her understand [there's some local women better than me]. I'm going to take a big unbelievable guess, if KUNOICHI restarted again, Higashimura Mei will have a shot become finalist and win it.

Inui never invites Izumi because he know that she will erase his beloved Ayano. And I seriously doubt that KUNOICHI will return.

I'm sort of failing to understand the reasoning behind Inui's over-reliance on Ayano at this point. Surely if there are potentially better competitors, why not invite them?
