Hiroyuki Asaoka: 3,72 Kota Sakuma: 4,21 Shingo Yamamoto: 7,13,20,36,98 Koji Saikawa: 9,14 Ken Hasegawa: 10,65 Takashi Sakamoto: 11,22 Kenji Takahashi: 15,46,66,84 Yoshinori Isa: 24,48,55 Eiichi Miura: 30,40 Masashi Hioki: 31,35,45,60 Hiroshige Yamamoto: 32,33,34 Tatsuya Yamamoto: 42,54 Takayuki Kawashima: 43,49 Yoshiyuki Yamamoto: 47,50 Lee En-Chih: 56,90,92 Koji Hashimoto: 60,85 Makoto Nagano: 61,96,99 Ryo Matachi: 62,94 Naoyuki Araki: 63,82 Shinji Kobayashi: 68,74 Yuuji Urushihara: 77,93,99 Yusuke Morimoto: 79,91,100
Unsurprisingly many numbers from Hioki and surprisingly a lot of numbers from Shingo, thanks to the weird low numbers he wore in his first tournaments. Sakuma and Sakamoto are the huge surprises, probably more the first since he has never cleared Stage One. And that streak from Hiroshige LOL

And Yamamoto Shingo would probably held the record for #97 as well if not for his dislocated shoulder in SASUKE 7 *which I think is the latest time a #97 make it to Final Stage*. Blue shirt Yamamoto Shingo is a beast.

Masakazu Ebihara reached the Pipe Slider wearing #70 in Sasuke 2, which is farther than Koji Yamada made it in 15 where he wore #70.

I would argue making around 63% to an eight-obstacle Stage is much harder than making it around 88% to a four-obstacle Stage *especially when the course has evolved so much*, but, yeah, if this was based on how close the competitors are to the Goal, then Ebihara gets the nod.

Hard to decide who get the best result, tecnically Yamada cleared more obstacles but was more far to the goal and Ebihara went closer to the clear but he had less obstacles to clear. I go with Koji since the course was harder and he cleared more obstacles than Ebihara.

I go with Koji since the course was harder and he cleared more obstacles than Ebihara. Each to their own but that does bias the results towards courses with more obstacles. That would also mean that Takeda in 24 would’ve gone farther than Shingo in 5, because he cleared more obstacles, given that there were 8 obstacles vs 5 and Takeda cleared 6 of them and Shingo only 4. But fundamentally Shingo went farther into the course relatively and was closer to the goal. If we’re talking impressiveness of the run then for sure Yamada takes the win, but relatively Ebihara made it farther as he cleared 3/4 vs 5/8 obstacles for Yamada. But that’s just my humble opinion. Sasukepedia says Ebihara made it farther though, though it is Sasukepedia lol…..

Also if Saikawa Koji returns in the future, he will surely be given low numbers again, so I kinda wanted to see if he could update the results of few numbers here. #11, if TBS decided to give consecutive numbers to him as before, is not really hard to surpass.

Realistically he could get the record for any number between #1-20 which is where he's likely to be placed, barring #3, #10, #13, #20, and another number I can't mention on here lol.

In next tournament, Saikawa can choose a number that never have people clear Stage 1, like 8, 12, 15, 21. And also, we can put Isa at 37 to quickly have a clear for the first time for a No.37.

And then let Mutou wore #78 and Sato #82 so we can finally see these numbers advance to the 3rd stage for the very first time (still unbelievable that #78 had its best result in SASUKE 1, did by the great Keiiti Sugimoto)
