So I was rewatching tournaments and, strangely, I notice that TBS tend to do a lot of wrong editings regarding competitors' Profile *mostly regarding their Age*. Here's some of them that I catch:
- In SASUKE 2 and SASUKE 3, they listed Tanabe Chie's age as 24 years old. As we know, she is born at 29 March 1971, thus making her 27 years old at the time of her runs in both tournaments. - In SASUKE 9 during the transition to Third Stage that shown people clearing Second Stage, Takeda Toshihiro is listed as 28 years old, even though he is correctly listed as 26 years old all other times. - Same thing happened in SASUKE 10 to Iketani Naoki, he is listed as 32 years old, even though he is correctly listed as 28 years old all other times. - TBS does love making error in this exact same transition, eh? For the third straight tournament, Akiyama Kazuhiko *for something a little bit different* is listed as #97, while we all know he had #99 in SASUKE 11.
Did you spot any other similar mistake(s)?

The "mistake" when they showed Okuyama's stage 2 run last in 26.

Apparentely, according to SASUKEPEDIA, they kept adding Hibari's age wrong. I believe, it was too a point, where in SASUKE 10/11, they didn't even show her age.

Ah, yeah, correct, she is born in 1969 but for some reason TBS keep list them as she is born in 1973. I mean, do they ever research things properly....

Brent Steffenson also had his age mislabeled too, in SK27. He was labeled as 26 when in actuality he was 30/31.
Not age related but either in SK37 or SK38, when they did the video package for Yamada, highlighting some of his moments, they used Asaoka's pipe slider fail in SK4. Yamada fell on the cliffhanger in SK4. I'm sure the reason is due to both of them wearing almost identical attire when they attempted the 3rd stage.

Ah, yes, that was in SASUKE 37 *they did that because it's the first time any Black Tigers Members (two of them, in fact) went into Third Stage, something he himself had not done since 2002*.

Also regarding Brent, his exact number is not really confirmed, but in SASUKE 26 he was said to be running in #70s, however, on-screen infographics shown him as #62 and his age is also displayed as 25 years old, which is outright wrong. I want to say what problem TBS had with him, but considering what he has become in the future....

He does seem like the type of person to fake his age, and it's really funny in hindsight, considering that unless you're in your 40's or in your teens, age doesn't really matter that much. It's funny in any event considering the man was 30/31, yet was labeled 5/6 years younger. Imagine my shock when I saw him return in SK32 and he was labeled as 35. I'm also pretty sure Ryan Stratis had an age mishap too, cuz he was also labeled as 26 37 in SK27, when in actuality he would've been 27/28. For Ryan's case however, that does seem accidental.

Stratis was labelled as 37 in Sasuke 27, which I don't get given that he was actually 28 at the time. If it was 10 years then I could understand a typo, but 9 doesn't make sense. Especially as the way I'd imagine it would've been they misread his date of birth, but I have a hard time assuming that the producers would get mixed up with 1983 (when he was actually born) and 1974 (which would've made him 37 at the time).

I think it might've had something to do with Travis Rosen being 37 at the time, which could've lead to the mistake if they were handling all the American's ages together (Rosen ran very close to him IIRC)

Found another one. I don't know what was going through the Editor's mind, but Takeda Toshihiro's introduction in SASUKE 28 featured his failure in SASUKE 11. Now, the infographic shown for the date of that tournament is 21 August 2005 *correct date for that tournament is 21 March 2003*, LOL. After searching the date of 2005-broadcasted tournaments, they probably mistaken it with SASUKE 15, aired on 20 July 2005 *still way off, by the way*.

Was probably just a typo, given that his performance in Sasuke 15 was pretty notable in that it was his only tournament where he came first place, and 15 aired on 20 July rather than August.
