Gonna add this one here, It might be something already well known but if it is, I've never heard of it and for me at least I'm treating this as a theory cuz...twitch chat So while watching the SK41 stream, someone mentioned where Asa has been, obvs he's been retired due to injury, but is it true that he also got into a car crash in Indonesia, and that said car crash might've caused his injury induced retirement? I think thats true tho I might have fallen for fake rumour Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is just a false theory. Though interestingly enough when I asked this during the stream, the person operating the stream, Nirensoritatsukabe, actually replied saying that Asa was in a car crash. I tried searching something up, anything really that would relate to this event but found nothing. From what I also remember, one of the twitch chatters mentioned something about this taking place in Indonesia or something? Presumably for a Ninja vs the world event by SASUKE Indonesia? Idk but either way, this absolutely would've been much more well known given that we're talking about one of the most popular competitors of his time being involved in a damn car crash.

Kane was famous enough that he was parodied by comedians. They don't that for nobodies.
Also, Japan does not allow dual citizenship. Since Kane's father was a Japanese citizen, Kane had a right to Japanese citizenship but would have had to choose by the age of 20. It doesn't look like he did so he's an American citizen since he was born on US soil. But he more than likely has something like permanent residency (akin to a green card in the US) which allows him to live and work in and outside of Japan. Even if he has Japanese citizenship, the point still stands about Japan and dual citizenship.
Finally, everyone forgets that Muscle Heat came out in 2002 (produced by TBS with Higuchi's involvement). And that he stops by for a Sportsman in 2004.
