Yeah, the music was definitely a lot better at first... but it was the Foo Fighters. Not so sure they'd let me just use their music Anyway, it's gotta go out anyway for my official entry video, so it's good for me not to get too attached to it. And David... sorry But I figure that little true comment will greatly improve my chances. Haha, no I consider it a compliment!

oh also a couple things I agree you need a littl more first stage stuff in there. Considering that most of the previous ANC winners never made it past the first stage, I think they really just want you clear stage one and anything past that is bonus! So show them you've been training for stage 1.
About posting on youtube, yeah I posted mine and I still won so I don't think they care.

Yeah, I've definately been training for stage one obstacles, but figured they'd appreciate more all-around stage obstacles, so more stage one it is!

Good job, the video keeps improving the more versions you do.
Although about the salmon ladder thing.. two questions. What is that you were using anyways?
And why didn't you just show yourself doing the salmon ladder on the actual salmon ladder that we know you have? I mean you could Salmon Ladder up, Pipe Slider down, turn aruond then pipe slider up

I like where the video is headed. I agree with Rider in that you should show you can beat the Salmon Ladder. Going a step further, I didn't get a sense of your endurance during the video. Sure, the clips provided were good, just a bit too short. For example, that shot where your doing the Cliffhanger to the left on the building, it seemed a bit short. It would look really impressive if you could Cliffhanger back and forth, or even do more than that. The longer you show that you can do the obstacle, the better. Also, I never got a good sense of the "cardio" aspects of the course, particularly how you would fair in Stage 1. I'm not sure how you would show that, but something where it shows that you can be fast and stay fast for an extended period of time. Other than that, I did really like it.

He said he didn't have access to his Pipe Slider because he had to take it down, so I assume the same applies to the Salmon Ladder.
The Cliff Hanger footage needs more moving from higher to lower (and vice versa) ledges, and maybe perhaps a shot of your hands to show that you're using the required 3cm grip, but you said you have Shin-Cliff footage in the pipeline so I take it you have that covered. For third stage footage, replicating obstacles (apart from the SCH) is far less important than showing endurance. I'd like to see that you're able to complete them several times in a row rather than just once.
I'll echo myself and others in saying that it needs a lot more speed, agility and first stage stuff. The first stage is the main thing that trips up almost everyone, whether it be an obstacle or just the time. You need to show that you can definitely pass the first stage with time to spare. Honestly David's winning video last time was a couple of steps above what you currently have, and even he was unable to complete it in time on his first attempt.

Sounds good guys, well noted!
The Salmon Ladder half is still intact, and Ruselis is even going to try to swing by saturday to give it a shot before we have to take it down. The only reason why I haven't beaten it yet... Well, I dunno why I haven't beaten it yet. My Salmon Ladder has 12 inch difference for the rungs, but the bar I used in the video is 14 inches. Maybe it's just the fact that the bar is forced along a certain direction, while a Salmon Ladder bar moves how I tell it to? Either way, when practicing lately, I can manuver the bar up a rung on either the left side or the right, but not both. I really want to get it, but I'm still working on it.
Nonetheless, here is what else you guys are recommending that I show:
More first stage obstacles... Dunno what else to add though. It's not like I need to show footage of the Sextuple Steps or Circle Hammer, I do have footage of the Spider Climb (Would use a trampoline but not finding any free on Craigs List), I could try to add some Warped Wall footage better than what I already have, Halfpipe Attack would be a bit difficult to show but I'll try, Slider Jump won't be possible (Although I wish I could!) simply because that would be hard to replicate without building something and I don't have the time or money, and the final rope swing/rope ladder climb is pretty simple. I'm more than open to suggestions though, so please let me know...!
-More endurance (I've been doing a lot of cardio, I just figured the footage would have been boring and haven't shown it. I'll definately work it in now though.)
-So from that, will do more Warped Wall footage.
-I also plan to put a little more Parkour footage in just to show some cardio/running around.
-Cliffhanger footage being worked on
-Globe Grasp being worked on
Any other ideas?

He's still working on the video. He posts more on the G4 forums and we've bugged him as to whether or not he's going

I'd leave out the ladder climbing, but yeah, basically.
Actually get mad at it, kick and swing hard and go up it. It's not hard.

Other than you having to add that footage, I found the video to be great. I feel you have a good chance of getting the try-out (which is stupid, though it may be better than voting). Hopefully you can make it there if you do get chosen.

YES! My video finally successfully uploaded, against the multiple times that it failed...
At least I know now that I will be given a fair chance.
Pray for me/wish me luck!
