Hey all, this will only count for anyone who's cleared the 1st stage because I don't want to include Aoki Yasuo into this. Anyways, the Alignment Chart, how will this apply to SASUKE? Well, it could be a combintion of factors. Such as: - If they cheat or not - How scummy they can be - Their luck - Etc.
Who would fit into each place? Well, that up to you to decide because I am very lazy. No but seriously, who could fit into each tier. I'll give an example, such as True Neutral being:
STAGE 2 FODDER/RANDOS FROM 20+ CLEAR TOURNAMENTS I chose these people because they have barely any screentime, no one remembers what they did, and them failing Stage 2 is less memorable than someone failing Stage 3. Also in the 1-4 era they probably have nothing known besides their name, occupation, and 5 seconds if they're lucky.
Now that's out of the way time for you to make your alignment chart, now where would Katsumi Yamada land? That's up to you. Now enjoy the format: Lawful Good: Neutral Good: Chaotic Good: Lawful Neutral: True Neutral: Chaotic Neutral: Lawful Evil: Neutral Evil: Chaotic Evil:
(chaotic evil could be someone who commited a crime or something)
enjoy i guess

Most egregious example are guys like Hiromasa Katakabe, Taiga Hoshikawa, Toshiharu Takami and Dai Igarashi, randos who cleared pathetically easy 1st stages multiple times only to be mercilessy erased by 2nd stage
Yamada is lawful evil, just see his desperate ways to cheat

Lawful Good: Shingo Neutral Good: Yūsuke Chaotic Good: Mid-2010's Jun
Lawful Neutral: Kongu True Neutral: Daisuke Naito Chaotic Neutral: Kanno
Lawful Evil: Inui Neutral Evil: Obata Chaotic Evil: DD
(yeah, I'm aware I broke the format a bit but Inui is the definition of lawful evil and Daisuke Naito is directly in the middle when looking at cb's competitor rankings so)

Hmmmmmm, here are a blank list of just guessing who I think deserves to be in each position: Lawful Good: Hioki Masashi | Lawful Neutral: Yoshiyuki Okuyama | Lawful Evil: Katsumi Yamada
Neutral Good: Kuro Tora | True Neutral: All randos who cleared Stage 1 from all eras | Neutral Evil: Hiromichi Sato
Chaotic Good: Jun/Rene | Chaotic Neutral: Anyone who showboats, but has cleared the stage at least once, and has argued with Inui (not counting Jun Sato) | Chaotic Evil: The Ninja Warrior version of He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named
THE WHY FOR EACH: Lawful Good: Look, he's a nice guy, but he has a limit. That limit is the Cliffhanger. Lawful Neutral: He is stoic, but a very likeable guy who represents a regular late 30's to early 40's competitor that can succeed. Lawful Evil: He played producer multiple times, but he's still dedicated to SASUKE to a dangerous extent, and it unfortunately affected his life.
Neutral Good: Good guys trained by, Mr. Yamada. True Neutral: I can't latch onto them much. Barely any content (if they get lucky). Fail on Stage 2, unless they have/had a record or something (like Suzuka Ryogo formerly until Kaiou showed up), I don't care about them. Neutral Evil: He doesn't like children apparently? I didn't want to add Obata or Brent, so here's the next best option. Most likely Lawful Evil however.
Chaotic Good: Thanks SASUKE 41! (also hope it isn't a spoiler, I didn't specifically) Chaotic Neutral: Self-explanatory. Chaotic Evil: It's kinda obvious. I wish April and her son have found peace their life. Also his lawyers.

I can see why who's in what category. I'll add more later, although I am curious why you would put Mutou and Sugeta in the true neutral zone.

There are other reasons about Yukio's being evil than his laughs at his brother's fails?

They give me the idea of being rather bland competitors who, despite obtaining decent results, are overshadowed by other stronger competitors

There are other reasons about Yukio's being evil than his laughs at his brother's fails? I think I probably put the wrong person into the section. I couldn't think of anyone for Neutral Evil at the time, so I just plastered in Yukio because I couldn't think of anyone at the time. He came first in my mind (for some reason). He did get cheers when he failed Stage Two. But I probably should maybe put Hiromichi Sato instead of Yukio. Reason why is because of his interactions with children in the SASUKE set. Apologies for the misconception, I don't think Yukio is a bad person besides being a jerk to his fellow Olympians/brother. Maybe there's something deeper in SASUKE 1? I don't know, but I don't think he's that bad.

What makes someone lawful vs chaotic, or good vs evil? Obviously chaotic evil is the most obvious choice here.....

What happened between Hiromichi and the kids? I hope nothing shocking Don't worry, he didn't actually commit an actual crime. The thing is that, re to Arsenette's blog + a few other sources that I forgot, somewhere around 19 or 20, a few children tried to interact with Sato. Now, they weren't harassing him or anything. They just waved to him. Sato, then just ignored them. Which is quite ironic, since he's a children's TV presenter, as he's supposed to work with children. Unsure if he's NE, but possible.

Lawful Good: Hioki Lawful Neutral: Bunpei Lawful Evil: Ragivaru - When you take it from the eyes of the showrunners of SASUKE, then yeah I guess he would be Lawful Evil because of his KuroAvi stint.
Neutral good: Takeda True neutral: Kobayashi Masaaki - First person I could think of for this spot. Neutral evil: Shoei - Him laughing at Omori and all that stuff. Petty behavior but considering he's yet to be mentioned, might as well shine a spotlight on him. Gonna also quickly shoutout Haniho Heniha, my original choice for Neutral Evil. Apparently he was illegally living in Japan or something.
Chaotic Good: Rene, Jun, and Shinji (His vibes fit this category, at least for me) Chaotic Neutral: Henry Cejudo, Yes I know he has never cleared the first stage, however his King of Cringe/Triple C antics that he did when he was a dual champion in the UFC makes him perfect for this role, at least for me. Ryo would be my rule abiding choice. Chaotic Evil: Drew
I also understand that this was inspired by D&D, something I have no experience in, but I read the definitions of each so that I could understand what I was kinda doing. Perhaps some of my matches are a bit out of sorts, with the exception of Chaotic Evil.

What makes someone lawful vs chaotic, or good vs evil? Obviously chaotic evil is the most obvious choice here..... Well, at the time I hadn't considered this. I mainly tried to create it because I wanted to see which competitors would fit where. The problem with that, is, well... I didn't have a definition. Given that, where I put who has changed. I can provide definitions now when I come to think of it. (W.I.P.): Lawful Good: Everything about them is great, and there really isn't anything that can point to negativity. They respect this course. Their backstories are wholesome. They are great friends with the other competitors. That being said, their records aren't great. Whether it be failing Stage One, or the cliff, their luck isn't desirable. Good examples include Shingo, Hioki. Lawful Neutral: They respect everyone, that's what you're supposed to do. However, they are quite stoic about it. They may not show much emotion, sometimes, but it's clear they have one thing on their mind: win! Some competitors include Bunpei, Yordan Yovtchev (I think), and maybe Kane Kosugi (unsure where to fit him). Lawful Evil: They still have respect. That being said, there's some problems about them. Lots of them. Whether it be KuroOvi, playing producer, or simply having some strange things, they have issues. They still like SASUKE at least. EXAMPLES: Katsumi Yamada, the two show creators, Anastase, etc. Neutral Good: Do they want to win? Yes. They still respect the course. They take it seriously. But uh... maybe more Neutral than Good? (please dm me). EXAMPLES: The 4 champions? True Neutral: GOOD GRIEF THESE GUYS are kinda boring. They don't have set personalities, there results don't truly stand out, they are mostly randos. There's just something about them that isn't interesting at all. They get overshadowed a lot by better competitors, which doesn't help their cases. I have a lot of examples, but it's mostly Stage 2 fodder. EXAMPLES: Naoki Yokoyama, Dai Igarashi, Riku Hanamoto (?), mainly Stage 2 fodder. Neutral Evil: They probably just don't care about their competitors. Whether it be make fun of them, or just be plain rude. Of course, they take this course seriously, but they are just unlikeable. EXAMPLES (using everyone's examples): Hiromichi Sato, Iketani Yukio, Shoei, Fukayama Tadanori (he sold weapons illegally). Chaotic Good: Will they break the rules? Uh, yes. They still at least take the course seriously, and enjoy SASUKE. That being said, they'll have some antics ever once in a while. Examples include (sorry azn): Shinji, Jun Sato, Rene, but positively. (Asa Kazuma?) Chaotic Neutral: Well just Chaotic Good, but they don't care. They'll get in arguments, they can piss off people. But not really too maliciously. They can even harm themselves in the process. However, they aren't evil. Examples so far: Kanno, Matachi, Levi, Iijima Chaotic Evil: Essentially just an even worse version of Neutral Evil. They don't care how people gets affected, they'll win! Also outside the show they had some scummy behavior. Examples: Drew, Obata, Brent I used examples from this thread btw.
