Seriously it seems they manage to screw this obstacle up in a different way every tournament. In 38 the wire kept getting caught, now the bar keeps getting derailed even though the point of the stoppers are to prevent this.
They need to sort this s*** out as they’re robbing potential clears left right centre.

Honestly, even if they fix the dragon glider, it's getting less and less dangerous for the majority of the serious contenders.
They need to not just fix it, but full on upgrade it imo, maybe add one of those Rollercoaster jumps or something.
Or they can alternatively remove the entire thing, just not sure what they can replace it with. Jumping Spider I guess?

Yeah literally anyone who trains it regularly is going to clear it, except for those who choke like Matsuda. Like the rest of the stage it’s getting way too long in the tooth and it’s also too much of a controversy at this point. I would say Jumping Spider but that would force them to scrap Stage 2’s Spider Walk which Inui is too stubborn to do anything about. Something lache and agility based for sure, but nothing that can malfunction like the DG. Inui needs to realise more technical isn’t always better.

Tbh, I'm all in favour of removing the DG, it had a great run until people starting practicing it. Now it's basically lost it's mystique. Heck Kane cleared it and what, he started training for the updated course like 5-6 months ago. Not only that but it there would be enough space for a climbing obstacle to be the final obstacle, which I much rather perfer over the double warped wall.

Yeah the fact that Inui says creating more space is too expensive yet added a second Warped Wall that no one asked for is very contradictory. Yeah agreed on the DG. I think they also need to focus on the rest of Stage 1 too. The DG has become the focal point, effectively the Cliffhanger of Stage 1, shown by the fact that even HIKAKIN can get through the first four obstacles. I’d say replace the DG with something requiring similar skill sets, maybe something like the Flying Squirrel from ANW or along those lines. Replace the Silk Slider with something harder to ween out the fodder reliably, hell even bring back the Wing Slider now that COVID isn’t an excuse anymore. Hell, they now have audiences back, why is the Silk Slider still a thing? Classic laziness lol.
