For 7 years, Ninja Warrior Germany has been one of the biggest Ninja Warrior spin-offs. Competitors from various countries including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland come together every season, in hopes of becoming the next Ninja Warrior. Over the time period that Ninja Warrior Germany has been around, fans have fallen in love with various Ninjas. This past season, however, fans of the show are seeing something that fans of American Ninja Warrior saw during the 8th season. Multiple different Ninjas who have been on every season of Ninja Warrior Germany didn’t compete on the 7th season. For the 7th season of Ninja Warrior Germany, the show went from 7 Qualifying rounds to only 5. It’s possible that because of less rounds of Qualifying, more Ninjas didn’t get the invite, but it’s still very bizarre that so many household names of this show, weren’t on this season. Below is a list of names that didn’t compete on Ninja Warrior Germany 7.
Since Ninja Warrior Germany 6
- Alexander Wurm - Max Prinz - Till Ebener - Tobias Plangger - Robin Leiber - Andreas Wohle - Lasse Von Freier - Nicolai Kuntz - Giovanni Ertl - David Wollschlager - Mark Degebrodt - Marius Holzinger - Tony Tu - Lorenz Wetscher - Norwin Stuffer - Max Sprenger - Benni Grams
Since Ninja Warrior Germany 5
- Christian Range - Michael Siegmund - Timo Siefried - Michael Brauer - Kim Marschner - Michael Streif - Tobias Erbele - Krister Kroll
Since Ninja Warrior Germany 4
- Herwig Natmessming - Benjamin Reichmann - Attila Hamberger
Since Ninja Warrior Germany 2
- Mirko Kunstler - Philipp Van Der Grinten
Since Ninja Warrior Germany

That is indeed a pity. I can only speculate as well. I don't think it's because of the lowered number of preliminary rounds. Everyone has their own reasons, but the main ones in my opinion are: - It was a 6 season long journey to become the first Ninja Warrior of Germany. But now one has done it. So the motivation could be now lower.
- Some of them are sport climbers with ambitions for the Olympic Games in 2024. And that has priority.
- Some of them are just injured or did not have time.
- Some of them don't love to compete or just need a break.
- Some of them don't love the production or the ninja sport itself that much.
I'd also add Adrian Wullweber, Mahdi Limper and Silke Sollfrank to the list. But hopefully some of those will come back in season 8 or later seasons.

Plangger was focusing on his sports, Sprenger on acting.
But too bad that Kim Marschner has been missing for so lang, I think he could win it all.
