Now that we know there WILL be a 23, what do you think will be the last 10 competitors to go at this point? Feel free to post a second opinion after your take (or change your original to save space or something).
In my view:
91) Bunpei Shiratori (assuming he's healthy enough to return) 92) Hiromichi Sato 93) Toshihiro Takeda 94) Naoki Iketani 95) Hitoshi Kanno 96) Daisuke Miyazaki 97) Lee Enchi 98) Yoshiyuki Okuyama 99) Yuuji Urushihara 100) Makoto Nagano (but some of us knew that)
At this point, I don't think Katsumi Yamada will go back into the top 10 unless he has a spectacular showing (as in, clear the first stage again and then some). And I think Levi Meeuwenberg will fall out after his Stage 1 failure in 22. He'll probably be between 81 and 90.
That's all. As always, my opinion may yet change as the tourney draws closer.

91. Levi Meeuwenberg 92. Lee En Chi 93. Naoki Iketani 94. Yoshiyuki Okuyama 95. Toshihiro Takeda 96. Hitoshi Kanno 97. Daisuke Miyazaki 98. Hiromichi Sato 99. Yuuji Urushihara 100. Makoto Nagano
Although it's hard to guess since they seem to decide it half at random.

I dunno... Levi was #90 in 22, and he failed the first stage. I'm betting Homeslice is right that he'll be above 80 though. Low 80's is my guess.

Ok... Fine... Geez... Off by one... (J/K) But whichever the case, I still stand by the low 80's.

Remember guys: Good performance =/= higher number just as bad performance =/= lower number (at least not for all cases) That said here's how I see it: 91. Kanno 92. Lee Enchi 93. (Olympian) Brian Clay? 94. Iketani 95. Okuyama 96. Takeda 97. Miyazaki (if he's there) 98. Sato 99. Urushihara 100. Nagano Of course there are others that could sneak in there if they want to compete/or are invited. This obviously will be absolutely wrong. As all of our lists are each time

That's not true Scnoi, Nagano is always 100 and pretty much everyone puts him there =p

Why is Iketani Naoki listed as 94 for most of you guys? Hasn't passed the first stage in all of shin sasuke and was fast forwarded last time.

Muscle Musical Member and SASUKE 1 Finalist Takayuki Kawashima hasn't passed Shin-SASUKE either. In 21, he was #80, failed the Jumping Spider, and was digested. In SASUKE 22, he wore #93, failed the Slider Jump, and was digested again. So, just because someone doesn't do well and is digested doesn't mean they'll have a lower number.
Iketani is the Monster Box World Record Holder, plus he arguably the most well known Muscle Musical Member at least in terms of SASUKE and he has a pretty good history with the show. So why not?

A competitor's # depends on what TBS wants. Sato has always had a high # even though he has never really done well (until #22). I wonder if Sato became popular with his 'success' at Viking, or if it's just because of his occupation.

Every tournament seems to throw up strange changes in numbering. Takeda in 21 was the first person to pass the Cliff Hanger, and in 22 he's bumped down from #98 to #92. Matsunaga drops 8 places despite clearing the first stage in 21. The All Stars are spread drastically over the field, ranging 80 places, whilst Iketani's number continues to rise despite successive first stage failures...

He is, so probably he will not be coming back to SASUKE (for now anyway).
And logomaniac, what's Nagano doing OFF your list?...
