In ANW 6, Brian deliberately avoided pushing the stage 1 buzzer until the last second so he could run stage 2 early and get more to rest for stage 3. This backfired due to the new rope jungle sapping his strength and time leading to him failing at the unstable bridge. Do you think this was a good strategy? If Arnold had gotten through rope jungle easily or it was never introduced, and he cleared stage 2, would this have helped him significantly on stage 3?

In hindsight, it didn't work out. Perhaps if he didn't wait as long and was in the middle it would have been better?

Given how difficult that Stage 2 was and how his results on subsequent Stage 2s ended on him failing the penultimate obstacle, I don't think it would've made much of a difference. ANW 6's Metal Spin was way harder due to the mat being further away so that could have still easily eaten him. Mind you he did clear it in USA vs. the World, but he was well over the time limit to where he likely would've been taken down in the actual tournament. Though USA vs. The World has always been a mess anyway.
