Though I'm wondering, why'd you get a NES and not a SNES? =O That's an easy one. It's because I grew up with an NES until I eventually got an N64 for Christmas in the third grade. My mother got rid of our NES after that. The Genesis was a pure fluke. I saw that the same guy was also selling a Genesis and I ended up being the only bidder for it.

Hahaha. I was going to ask why he's even buying them to begin with. I'm guessing it's the feeling of nostalgia, as well as being able to play the games the way they were designed to be played (with controllers, on a TV). I like buying games for my NES but I am happy to play ROMs if I can't find the games on EBay or I consider them too expensive. Sess, some other games that I have heard are good (but I have not played) are Duck Tales, Batman, and River City Ransom. All of my suggestions are NES games, BTW. P.S. You got Shaq Fu? Hahahaha, that is gold! Have you played it yet?

I rigged it so I can play NES, SNES, GBA and Genesis games on my Wii with a Gamecube controller. It's funtastic!

P.S. You got Shaq Fu? Hahahaha, that is gold! Have you played it yet? Yes I have, and it really is that bad. The controls suck hard.

We all have Google. You're not special. And yeah, Homebrew channel. I figured it's safer than modding my Wii.

You should be happy that you have the Genesis version, it has 5 more characters than the SNES, which means longer story length, i.e. more gameplay and more FUN!!! Well, at least you always have a rebuttal whenever your friends say that THEY have a bad game.

I was going to ask why he's even buying them to begin with. In regards to this question, I just want to say that I'm a guy that likes to own physical stuff. Whether it's video games, DVDs, VHSs, or CDs there's just something about owning a physical item. Even if it's obtained legally, I don't like to obtain the data of a game/show/song because it's just that, Data. I can't hold it and experience all the work put into the art of the cartridge/case/instruction booklets. And yes, I do read the instruction booklets. I think the thing I enjoy about owning the actual item rather than just the game is I get a sense of accomplishment. I can look at my collection at any time and say, "Yea, I own that." If I just download, all I can do is go to my computer and look at a list of what I own. It just isn't the same. Don't get me wrong, I do download every now-and-then (legally) because there are times where it's more appropriate. But given the choice, 99% of the time I would buy the physical video game over downloading it for free. It's just who I am.
