Yamada's fail (both on the quad step and rolling hill) was definitely impacted by the rain and slipperiness. Say it was dry. How would he do?

The Silk Slider would’ve possibly taken him out, but I’m glad he failed the first obstacle because he’s too old to compete now and is performing at Mr. Octopus level.

I KNEW Shingo touched the water. I don't see how people are still uhming and erring over whether he did or not, it's so obvious lol.
I could see him reaching the Dragon Glider given that the first half was identical to 38's, but there's no way Yamada would've made it past it; from what I've seen he doesn't actually practice it himself. All he does is the trampoline jump and touches the bar. It's also Yamada at 56 years old; I can't see him pulling it off.

Could you imagine how legendary it would have been if he actually did make it to the second wall. The chat would have gone wild and it probably would have bumped the tournament alot higher in the ratings. Yamada actually did make it to the second wall in Sasuke 30, would be legendary for him to tie with the 2 greatest competitors ever in the show (Morimoto and Yuuji).

Not really given that Yuuji and Yusuke would've cleared Stage 1 had it been dry.
But yeah, that would've been absolutely mental if Yamada cleared the Dragon Glider. Mind you, I never would've thought Can Yutaka would've got past it, though unlike Yamada he'd probably been training on an exact replica with Darvish.
I’m personally more interested as to how Jun Sato would’ve managed as he would’ve run in the 90s during the rain. Would he fail the wall or would his parkour skills serve him even in the face of complete adversity?
