Out of curiosity, has anyone counted how many G4 episodes there are from 1-27? I'm not sure if they include Women of Ninja Warrior and the G4 specials for that count, but it may give us an idea of how many parts 35-37 will each be.
Also, I find it weird that G4 hasn't even mentioned how 28-34 are being handled yet. Will they show the Challenge edits, or come back to them later on? Clearly there are a few major hurdles there in terms of editing out a particular competitor, but it would very weird for G4 to ignore other important things which have happened since then (specifically, the rise of new competitors and Morimoto's win in 31). Jumping straight from 27 to 35 would seem like a very awkward transition otherwise.

I just went through my Esquire Labor Day Weekend Marathon recordings, which I recorded in chunks of 1, 1.5, and 2 hours, so I could get some sleep throughout.
They aired Sasuke 2-27, and almost every Kunoichi, skipping K6 (Ayako's 3rd win).
My recordings totaled 63 hours, or 126 half-hour episodes. IMDB says K6 is 3 episodes, so 129 half-hour episodes. S1 was a single one-hour episode, so 130 episodes not counting length.
Sasuke 1 1 episode, Sasuke 2-27 104 episodes, Kunoichi 1-8 25 episodes.
S01 - 1.0 - 1* S02 - 1.5 - 3 S03 - 1.5 - 3 S04 - 1.5 - 3 S05 - 1.0 - 2 S06 - 1.5 - 3 S07 - 1.5 - 3 S08 - 1.5 - 3 S09 - 1.5 - 3 S10 - 1.5 - 3 S11 - 2.5 - 5 S12 - 1.5 - 3 S13 - 2.5 - 5 S14 - 2.0 - 4 S15 - 2.0 - 4 S16 - 2.0 - 4 S17 - 2.5 - 5 S18 - 2.0 - 4 S19 - 1.5 - 3 S20 - 2.5 - 5 S21 - 2.5 - 5 S22 - 2.5 - 5 S23 - 2.5 - 5 S24 - 3.0 - 6 S25 - 2.5 - 5 S26 - 2.0 - 4 S27 - 3.0 - 6
K01 - 1.0 - 2 K02 - 1.0 - 2 K03 - 2.0 - 4 K04 - 1.5 - 3 K05 - 1.5 - 3 K06 - 1.5 - 3 K07 - 2.0 - 4 K08 - 2.0 - 4

So does this mean 28-34 are also gonna be included with 1-27?

But there aren't anywhere near that many episodes. 1-27 is only about 100 episodes, and even if you add in Kunoichi, the number is nowhere near 167. So what's the deal?

Hypothetically, you can get exactly 37 episodes with S28-34, if you had two of them be 3 hours and the other five be 2.5 hours.
For example...
S28 - 2.5 - 5 S29 - 2.5 - 5 S30 - 3.0 - 6 S31 - 3.0 - 6 S32 - 2.5 - 5 S33 - 2.5 - 5 S34 - 2.5 - 5
It would add up to 167 episodes - S1 1 + S2-27 104 + K1-8 25 + S28-34 37

Perhaps never before seen content? I totally doubt it but with Sasuke all runs are in order so there's no narrative difference by showing full runs that weren't previously shown. All the runs are fully recorded. Whether or not they have access still is another story.
Perhaps not too crazy of a possibility? If I recall the UK has shown runs that Japan didn't.

That is correct. Kong was shown in 31, Takeda and Yamamoto as well as Nagasaki in Stage 2 in 32 and Drew and Sato's Stage 2 runs in 33. Celebrities were cut so I speculate the aforementioned runs were chosen to fill out screentime lost from the celebs.
G4 showed every American rep they had with the exception of Furlanic, Jake Smith, and Flip in 27. 26 showed Kong, Kanno, and Hashimoto's runs. And 27 showed Kong and Nagasawa's Stage 1 runs and Ryouma Kato and Iketani's Stage 2 runs, but that's it.

Not sure what cable tv is showing but the broadcast for Philo on demand are out of order. For instance Sasuke 26 only shows stage 2. It’s very frustrating.

I think there are multiple episodes for each tournament. That's what my guide shows for Xfinity. It finally lists the tournaments. I can't speak for Philo but is there multiple Sasuke 26 episodes perhaps there?

Yeah I know there’s multiple episodes per tournament, but Philo is dropping the ball right now, or it’s G4 idk

Pluto TV has G4 Selects which plays Ninja Warrior. It's a free TV service.
