Apologies if this has been mentioned already (see below), but I do think this news if worth sharing, especially since it involves a participant in a recent Monster9 show. Professional wrestler Mitsuharu Misawa died on Saturday, June 13, 5 days short of his 47th birthday. Apparently he lost consciousness after a suplex was performed on him in a wrestling match. Misawa competed in Pro Sportsman No. 1 2009, a Monster9 show featuring decathlete Brian Clay and handballer Daisuke Miyazaki, and aired in January. I best remember him for being the oldest participant, and for clearing 11 boxes in the Monster Box section (in a clip that was often shown as a commercial for that particular show). Obviously, this is tragic news, especially since he was so young, and still was active in his craft. He was apparently one of Japan's most popular pro wrestlers, which I don't have difficulty believing since I found out about his death on an Australian news website, indicating his fame and international recognition: news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/825486/pro-wrestler-dies-after-match/?rss=yesR.I.P. (EDIT: g4fan2007, aka Random Man, has already posted about this in the Pro Wrestling thread of the general talk subforum: sasukemaniac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=830&page=1#21082His post is much more informative than mine, please read it if you wish to know more about Misawa and this unfortunate event).

Yeah, I mentioned it in the pro wrestling thread the day of, but he deserves his own. Yes you did, sorry I did not think to look there. I will link to your post at the start of this thread, it is much more informative than what I wrote. (EDIT: I also realise I initially spelt Misawa's name wrong in the title of this thread, that has now been fixed).
