1. Name change- Make the Official name SASUKE-KUNOICHI.
2. Start from scratch- Acknowledge the past but officially make it a new show. Branded as becoming the Female SASUKE.
3. Home in on specific skill sets- The original was all balance, the renewal was awkward and used toned down SASUKE obstalces with rediculious time limits and lack luster field. This needs to change.
Stage 1 should be speed and dexterity with no stupid rules on how they have to clear an obstacle. The time Limit should require a decent pace.
Stage 2 should have some strength added in like a spider walk and some other stuff. It should require you to go fast.
Stage 3 should be a mixture of skills like extreme ballence and decent strength and over all skills without time limit.
Stage 4 should be the original rope climb.
4. Add trials- The biggest issue with why the show failed is they kept trying to nerf the course instead of trying to up the skills of the challenges. Hold trials and make sure you have a pool of contestants that can compete without fear and with the ability to be contenders for the win. Trials should be able to get rid of people who are scared to make the jumps who aren't going to scream when doing an obstacle and who are confident in their ability.
5. Treat the show as an equal with SASUKE and not the side show with pretty women.
People will tune in to see an Olympic level contest with all women and probably much more than were watching before, so they need to advertise it as such. Also go back outside.

I get what you are saying here, but pre-2017 KUNOICHI and even post-2017 KUNOICHI both had a lot of this.
--
- 2017~present KUNOICHI did great at mentioning the past. They talked about how Miyake Ayako had mentored a student from PADMA, and even would occasionally show clips of pre-2017 KUNOICHI.
- I'm not sure how the time limit was so lackluster given there was an appropriate mix of time outs and clear times. It may have been a little high in the first tournament back but they shaped it up much better after. I don't know how the field is lackluster either. All competitors have to have at least some sports experience to get onto KUNOICHI. Most people just don't look into the cast and just see a group of women and not really any individualities, which should be done a lot more.
- "No stupid rules on how they have to clear on obstacle." This is a world-wide Ninja problem and not just a KUNOICHI one. SASUKE has the Fish Bone rule where you can't skip pegs and a plethora of unseen rules.
- Every tournament of KUNOICHI had trials except the 2006 Spring season and the 2009 Fall season.
I understand where you are coming from. But I'm not sure how much of this will make a difference when this is what they are already doing, people just don't pay enough attention.

-Yeah the newer versions were good at acknowledging the past.
-The compeditors were moving slow the time limit matched the low caliber of contestants. Even with the stupid rules on obstacles 1 and 2 the pace should have been more brisk but I guess the producers wanted to play it safe.
-Agreed
-Indeed they did have trials thanks for bringing that to my attention. Though it seems like for some weird reason not everyone who qualified competed. Even having a steady stream of people from the trials get in say 30 would be a great improvement.
-They could change things if they did the above more than before. When 10 year olds are in the top 20 easily that should change.
