one of the black tigers achieved total victory?
In 37, a black tiger made it the furthest any of than had gotten by that point by getting to the second transition on the cliffhanger. Assume in a future tournament that black tiger or another achieved Kanzen. How much credit should Yamada get for serving as a mentor to that competitor?

Maybe about 40%. While he is the one who trained them, in the end, it is the competitor him/herself who make all the difference. This case is proven by Yamamoto Hiroshige. He had so much potential, Yamada believe in him, but in the end, he let himself doomed due to mental mistakes.
