I think Geoff is a perfect example of that there are people who actually find stage 1 the hardest. A bit before that there were a chunk of rock climbers saying if only they can get past stage 1 that they would have a strong chance to make an impact. Geoff is an animal on the later stages but even he struggled towards the end of stage 3. You could see how exhausted he was. He really put everything into finishing that year. I would love to see him come back and compete on stage 2 and 3 again.
I would also love to see him compete on Sasuke. He was going to but there was a scheduling conflict. I'd love to see him get another invite. On Sasuke, stage 1 and stage 2 are way easier than the American stage 1 and stage 2. But stage 3 and stage 4 is more difficult. But the later stages is where Geoff seems to be strong. I feel he would have a solid chance at getting very far in Sasuke.

Like you said, he's primarily an upper-body beast that can dominate Stages 2 and 3... but given Sasuke's easier Stage 1, I think he can definitely make it to those stages. Then, if the likes of Rene can beat Stage 3 on his first try, I can't see him struggling that much on Stage 3 either. I don't think he'd achieve total victory, because Sasuke's current Stage 4 is insane, and he only barely cleared ANW's Stage 4, but I still think it'd be a solid run regardless.
