In the trailer for Season 12, we saw brief flashes of some.. interesting looking obstacles. Given the finals course (but not the "qualifiers" and "semi-finals") is drastically different in format, being just 10 obstacles, I'm interested in how it will be handled...
Will they make it 10 of the toughest obstacles that ninja has ever seen? Will it just be like the usual Stage 1? Will it be a mix of obstacles from all stages? What do you think?

All of this was filmed after Ninja Warrior Australia. They talk about it being the top 8 will move on to the Power Tower. Part of me feels like the obstacles are going to be similar to Australia's State of Origin.

I feel like it'll literally just be a tougher version of a city finals course

Agreed, let's hope that the season's smaller scale has given them more time to plan/design unique obstacles.

One of the old ANWnation things said something about being 'stung by a bee' or something, so i think that's what the honeycomb is about. MFrom the look of it it looks like flywheels with blocked plexiglas so they're forced to grab on the sides. from what I know about ANW the caveat likely is that the plexiglas is on the eg: right side for the first honeycomb and the left for the second, or something; or maybe it's just the same way entire way through. idk
