Since they conveniently stopped the cliffhanger ledges in 37 after Morimoto failed stage 1 how hard do you think new cliffhanger is and who you think will clear it in next tournament

Just saw this.
It’s really hard to say.
I think the first transition would be less problematic as people were used to the vertically moving ledge on the UCCH; I think Jun and Yoshiyuki would’ve probs failed that transition if the second ledge was moving but no one else.
The horizontally moving one though is different territory. Rene said that because his circus performances are all about timing he could’ve probably done it as well but who knows. I guess we’ll see in 38.
I should note that because of the pandemic they’re unlikely to do a live final this year, which means that the ledges will defo be moving; last year they were pressured for someone to reach the final and because Stage 1 results weren’t great they halted the ledges to make sure someone cleared Stage 3. They don’t have that pressure anymore.

I honestly think the Cliffhanger Dimension won't be significantly more difficult than the UCCH. Even with the UCCH's original moving ledge, the vast majority of the challenge still came from just landing the jumps to begin with. Even then, we started to see competitors adapt and overcome the challenge in Sasuke 36, so I don't think another moving ledge will significantly shake things up.

I'm not really sure about that. A lot of competitors failed the second transition of the UCCH because they jumped at the wrong time; think you know who in SASUKE 33, Jun and Hioki in 36. Now, whether this was exacerbated by the fact they were likely more tired from the first jump is a different story, but the moving ledge incorporates a different air of difficulty.
The halted ledges just mean that you have to land your jump correctly in terms of distance and hand placement, but the moving ledges incorporate an extra aspect of perfect timing into the jump which a lot of competitors don't think about because of the 180 degree aspect of the jump. The Cliffhanger Dimension's second transition doubles this issue by the fact that the ledge you're on is moving vertically, and the final ledge horizontally, meaning that you not only have to time your jump extra well, but adjust your hand movements on both a horizontal and vertical aspect. I guess we'll see in sasuke 38.
