Yes, That was after he cleared the SECOND stage, not in the middle of stage 1. Besides that when in Sasuke 4 after he did that he won.

Still doesn't make it appropriate or right. If he doesn't pass the first stage after doing that flip, he's going to look like a jerk. Maybe there's another context to this. I hope so.

IMO....Levi has no right to showboat yet. He did extremely well in Sasuke 20 and has a bright future. But to showboat at this stage i his Sasuke career is foolish, immature, and disrespectful. I guess we'll see on Wed. what happens, but he needs to be careful. You don't want to annoy the producers as they have the final say on who comes and who doesn't.

Yeah, he seemed so humble and nice in 20, I don't want him to turn into an arrogant jerk.

While I will pass judgement on his flip until after the broadcast, here are a few things to consider:
1: As others have said, we might be taking this out of context, so lets just wait awhile.
2: G4 could have put him up to this. Wouldn't put it past those idiots to tell Levi "You know, if you want to showboat and play to the crowd, we won't hold it against you...."
3: Freerunning is showboating. Watch any of Levi's freerunning videos; the front flip in an unnecessary spot is Levi's thing. Like in the footage of his freerunning in the Tokyo streets before 20. He was doing flips over anything that was stationary. If he didn't have a certain personal flair, he would have listed himself as a parkour practitioner rather than a freerunner.

I've noticed that too, people just use the words like they're interchangeable while what I noticed is Parkour is more practical and Freerunning is more show-off-y.

I didn't know what the difference was until I saw his presentation at the Ann Arbor Library where he defined them.

Ok, well i dont kno why, but i get the wierd feeling Levi had a 1 time run, a fluke. Now, i kno a few competitors like this, but 2 come to mind, Terek (17: cliff hanger, 19: jumping spider) and travis shreader (sp) (4:pipe slider, 5: early 1st stage) Now i kno there are other competitors but those 2 come 2 mind. So my question is, do u think Levi is the real deal or did he have a fluke run Ok, terek faced the 17th that most people called one of the easiest. Then, he faced the hardest, the 19th, don't compare those two. Travis Schraeder faced a first and second stage that didn't compare to the 5th Sasuke in the 4th one.

Since when was 17 one of the easiest?
It was the hardest before the course redesign IMO.
They never made it eaier back in those days, it always got harder.
You have no idea what you're talking about.

I say it was neither the easiest nor the hardest. I think 15 may have been the hardest before the redesign, and 16 the easiest (though I'm still shocked that Yamamoto did not get past the first stage in 16).

15 was definitely the hardest, and not just in terms of weather. The 3rd Stage in 15 (and 14) was brutal with the Rumbling Dice (the energy killer) and the Jumping Bars having 6 bars to jump to (in 16, this was changed to 4). 16 definitely had the easiest 1st Stage as 16 people cleared (which I believe was a post-Akiyama win record), while it had a much harder 2nd Stage because of the Metal Spin. It's 3rd Stage (and 17's) was hard, but definitely not the hardest.

I exagerated, it maybe wasn't the HARDEST, but it was up there, and it definately wasn't the easiest, the point I was making.
Anyway, it'd be in the top 3.
Did they have the "devil swing" or whatever it was called in Sasuke 15?
That honestly it really hard to get a rythm going on.
And if people like Nagano and Takeda can fail there... well you know.

Yeah, and 16 was also the last time Akiyama made it past the First Stage.
But the Metal Spin was harder and it took out a who's who of contestants, including the likes of Akiyama, Shinji Kobayashi, and Paul Hamm.
Having 6 Jumping Bars was pretty tough. And who knew there'd be an obstacle where Nagano wasn't the first to clear it? (Instead, it was Shinji.)
And yes, they did have the Devil's Swing in 15. Takeda tried it and failed. (Shinji failed it in 14 and Nagano failed it in 16, both in similar situations, whereas Takeda had grabbed onto the Pipe Slider with one hand but immediately lost his grip.)
