Alright well im bored of this show. Oh well. This is my favorite post ever. I do kind of agree, it didn’t help that they filmed two seasons back to back with very similar obstacles (and use like the same games every time). Did anyone get to see the end of ep 4 by the way to offer a recap? I missed the last two holes due to the news interruption.

Did anyone get to see the end of ep 4 by the way to offer a recap? I missed the last two holes due to the news interruption. Round 2 was an all-female matchup. The first match was between Kathy (63, outdoors, plays minigolf with nieces) and Hayla (27, lots of energy). The hole was the fish bridge. Hayla's ball landed around 8-10 feet away from the hole near an edge. Kathy's ball landed about a foot away from the hole. They both got knocked off by the first fish. Hayla's next shot was about 2-3 feet short. Kathy nailed her shot. The second match was between Jenna / J-Bark (29, nurse, viral video of her drive) and Julie (53, Navy and Airforce veteran, nurse, hula hooper). The hole was the backward walking moon. Julie fell in the water, while Jenna made it across. Jenna nailed her shot. Her shot actually hit the corner of the ridge and slightly changed angle. The final match was between Jenna and Kathy on Holeywood, the course with the conveyor belt to the water pads. The pad they land on determines how close they are when they putt. Kathy slipped off the edge and crashed into the water. Jenna sprinted on the conveyor and leapt to the second pad which pushed it up to the third pad where she ended up falling on to. This is the farthest anyone's gotten so far. Kathy's shot landed around 6 feet away from the hole. Jenna's shot landed around 2 feet away. Kathy nailed her next shot. Jenna missed her next shot. Her ball actually hit the lip, which I just learned is called a lip out. Kathy wins the episode and is moving on to the season finale.

It's over.
Even though we had about the same number of holes, for some reason it felt like we had half that.
By episode 5, it was just something I played on in the background.
The Muppets also took up time.
Going into the finale, I expected the guy who owns his own mini-golf course to at least make the final 3, which he did, and then into the final putt-off. Kathy winning was a nice surprise.
Kathy having back-to-back hole-in-ones in the previous two rounds of the finale was great. One of the competitors also landed on the 3rd pad in Holeywood, making her the second to do so this season.
The final hole was a simple putt-off on Holeywood but with a steeper corner slope and no ridges. There were also lots of dancers, costumed characters, and Jeannie singing. The hole itself wasn't as fancy as the 4-person putt-off on the rotating pyramids from Season 2, or the head-to-head on the combined triple-hole from Season 3.

Not gonna lie, didn't watch past episode 3, but this season was their laziest. They better step it up for season 5.

I watched this season. I liked the premiere but my interest waned. The whole Muppets thing was funny for an episode or 2. Then it got tiresome. It got to the point where it almost felt more annoying than funny. The final hole was really underwhelming.
There were some interesting casting choices and the commentary was funny at times. Some cool hole in ones throughout the season, especially the finale. Also, there were some cool moments of athleticism and funny fails.
I hope for next season to get some more parkour people. It's interesting to see some beat the obstacles. While I do like seeing fails and having some ridiculousness, it is a balancing act. I felt by the end of the season it leaned too hard on the ridiculousness. Also, there wasn't any pay-off to the whole fake Stephen Curry thing.

That honor belongs to season 1 But of all the seasons I’ve watched, this has been the lamest. It’s pretty much all down to filming two seasons back-to-back, meaning barely any new stuff and for whatever reason having fewer holes than in season 3.
