Same trailer with a few seconds cut off from the beginning posted on Stephen Curry's YouTube channel on the day of the premiere.

Well it's a fun and great idea but it's really over the top and it's going to get old quick. If only they could make it similar to wipeout.

Just saw the first episode. I can't get behind it. It was cool the first time around and the commentary is pretty funny, but the preview for the next episode showed the same exact holes/courses, so I can already tell I'm gonna get bored easily.

I read some 13 hot questions about Holey Moley thing, and they very breifly noted that the courses are the same every week. Sorry, but why the heck? Even if it means repeating a hole one week, it's worth it for episode composition being varied. This is what shows like this always fail to do.

Is the finale winners of the previous games or just new people?

So only watched two episodes of the first season, but this has been shockingly renewed: ew.com/tv/holey-moley-exclusive-season-2-first-look/It looks better to me. Though if it's the same obstacles every week again, it won't matter as I'll only be watching episode 1. The shark and rotisserie look great, though the porta-potties look like Smackwalls to me :/. Strange decision to keep the two rounds they never showed last season - I'm sure they'll still never show them!

Season 2 premieres this Thursday.
From various articles about the format - 13 episodes over last season's 10. Each episode winner will be in the grand finale with a prize of $250,000. Each episode in the regular season features 8 competitors instead of 12.
I don't think they'll change how the rounds work. We would just have 3 fewer matches overall, 2 less in Round 1, 1 less in Round 2, leading to 2 competitors in Round 3 instead of 3.
Hopefully this means fewer to no fast forwarded matches, except for the finale episode unless they make it two hours, which I expect it to be.

Article with pics of 12 holes / obstacles. www.vulture.com/2020/05/holey-moley-season-2-golf-course-premiere.htmlSeason 1 had 10 different holes. The trailer had 3 that weren't in the article, I think. Water Hazard which looks like last season's Surf Or Turf, D(r)iving Range with the diving board, The Distractor in the form of dancing shirtless dudes, and I think the Spinning Log is part of Beaver Creek. Good to see the Big Balls from Wipeout in some form. It looks like they got rid of the robot, which ate up a lot of time last season.

I really like the idea of the grand finale. One of my biggest issues with season 1 was the lack of a finale.

Hopefully they don't use all 12 every episode! That would improve things so much.
Grand finale... hmm. That probably lends itself to being overly serious (if other shows are to go by), plus it'll just be the same people taking on the same obstacles, right?

I watched it! I know I expected it to be better and all, but I am amazed emoticon emoticon
Lots of new stuff! I looooved the Polcano round. The fact that it's just 1 of 18 regular rounds and is essentially a vastly improved version of last season's final round says it all - everything has been improved tenfold this time.
The bathrooms (while a bit smackwally) were fun and I could see someone clinging onto a door and getting around it, so not terrible I guess).
Dutch Courage was a deserving enough round to return and the fifth blade makes a huge difference! The skit with the lady being afraid to pass it was brill. I was actually expecting a drawbridge feature from reading that article though, so I was a bit disappointed with that emoticon emoticon
Dragon's Breath is visually impressive so I can see why they started with it. Not too enjoyable to watch I admit, but still. Same with the electricity final - although that wasn't even very impressive-lookjng. As the article thing said, I don't just want to watch people get shocked! I also thought that those boxes on the course we're there to automatically electrocute the player when the ball hit them, rather than just having them electrocuted after every putt. I honestly would've preferred that version.
The plank and shark round is great! We'll see lots of fun stuff there, I think. Maybe a bit more of a penalty for the person who hits the ball farther from the X though - perhaps the contestant has to hit the ball themselves, while blindfolded. As it was this time, blindfolding the pirate barely hurt his putt!
The Log Roll round is fun! Just like Wipeout's obstacle. It'd be awesome if they used a few of the simple twists from Wipeout (Rolling Stones, Brush Rush, Wrecking Ball), but it's already fun to watch. And for some reason Rob suddenly stating that the hole sucked made me actually LOL. Loved it.
Consolidating the rounds was a great idea, since they couldn't be trusted to fairly skip rounds in season 1 (RIP Sweet Spot). Plus, it'll lead to obstacles being used less, which is even better. Plus you know who everyone is now!
Not a huge fan of the fact that there're all serious golfers now (according to the trailer), but whatev. Maybe it'd take too long otherwise (I'd probably be happily fishing my ball out of the water for the 20th time with most of these, after all!).
Don't know why it was cartoon Steph Curry though. I thought coronavirus at first, but then we did see him in one bit, didn't we?
Awesome episode. And there's still like 11(?) unseen holes?! As long as they mix them up in different orders and combinations I will most certainly watch this season through. I saw a hole with a giant drink and fries in a YouTube video (will try to link here) which looks intriguing. It's probably connected to a picture of a giant fork they posted on Instagram, I'd guess!

I was hoping he'd have a sandwich coming back from commercial. That was a funny bit that kept with the comedic tone of the show.
It was hilarious when after she didn't let go of the zip line and hung there for a while, it just accelerated her at the pole.
Interesting that they dropped Mt. Holey Moley to make the last match more of surprise. I hope it's different each time.
Having fewer matches made it easier to follow along and stay with the action and the competitors. Overall it was fun.

This is a fun show. It seems like the competitors are legit but in on the joke. The holes were better and the fact there were less people make it better. Some moments made me laugh out loud. Unlike Ninja when I'm gutted when someone falls, with this it's hilarious.

Yeah, they said the final would change this year. It's great! I'm sure the final from this week (and all the other future finals) will show up as main rounds in different episodes.
I only watched one ep last year, but now I will watch all of them. Just having the variety of choices makes it watchable this year.
My Dad also wanted the sandwich thing to happen after the break. Gutting.
