Although the season does not start until June 1st, eyes are on Invest 90L in the Atlantic. 40% chance of forming into our first Tropical Depression in the next 5 days. Welcome to the 2019 season everyone!

I pray this season is less deadly than the last few we had.

Officially the start of the season today. To start us off theres a disturbance over by Mexico that will more than likely not form into a TD before it hits land. None the less, 91L is being watched. /

PTC/TD Barry likely forming Wednesday. Discussions are suggesting Hurricane strength once landfall over in Texas. This will be interesting to watch.

Ugh.. the flooding is the part that always has me worried.. especially in the Delta.. Btw current predictions have it at near record but itll depend on how long it stays and where it goes.

I haven't posted much but Hurricane Dorian plans on hitting FL as a Major Cat 3 (wouldnt be surprise to see it max at cat 4). Rapidly intensifying currently after flooding PR. Also, first hurricane to hit East FL since Katrina in 2005.

I was right, forecasted to be Cat 4 now. Track is still uncertain however.

Fun stuff tonight. In a 6 hour window looks like we are jumping up to a Cat 4 very early. Planes just got data suggesting a 24mb drop in Dorian since the last flight along with a 15mph increase in wind speed. Before the sun sat it looked like the eye wall finally stabilized and it's only getting worse from here.
HOWEVER, latest EURO suggest a turn north before landfall but I imagine we'll see a turn north right on the coast.
I'm curious to see what the 8pm update brings. I imagine we'll see a monster by morning.
