What would you say is the most dangerous on the show is?
Id say the Downhill Jump due to how easy it is lose balance, it caused Bunpei to retire in 21 after slamming his back into hard wood worsening his chronic condition. One thing I'm curious about is what would happen if a competitor lost their grip near the end would they slam into the dirt?

Flying Chute. I'd love to see it back but it could seriously mess people up.

Rope Glider. Didn't someone go to the hospital because of this obstacle?

I love the fact all 3 obstacles I feel are dangerous are the ones already mentioned. XD Yes Rope Glider had #2 sent to the hospital, Flying Chute is terrifying, and downhill jump injured Bunpei. But... Maybe also Reverse Fly?

I don't think it's the absolute most dangerous, but TIE Fighter has managed to have a pretty high injury rate, hasn't it? Perry stuck his foot through it and bust his leg, and it's injured at least 1 other competitor too, I think.
The SASUKE 29 variant of the backstream was also pretty dangerous, given how high the water jets were turned up. They may have it manned with lifeguards but that doesn't automatically make it safe.

I totally forgot about that! don't forget the Wing Slider also dislocated Toshihiro's shoulder most recently... And SASUKE 30's backstream while not as powerful as 29, it weakened Shingo and he mentioned if he tried to keep going, he could have very well drowned. Yeah 29's variant weakened Yuuji and Ryo severely, I honestly almost forgot.

Rope Glider. Didn't someone go to the hospital because of this obstacle? Several did actually. The worst was one guy that had to be put in traction because of the injuries to his spine.

I feel like I need to mention the SASUKE 27 Half-Pipe Attack as well, just because it has gone unnoticed so far. While one could argue that Drew was the only one that injured himself, that thing was practically unpadded wood, and that log had the potential to cause some serious damage if somebody lost their balance and hit their head on it. This wasn't a problem before due to how well-padded the platform was, but with the aesthetic change, it became quite dangerous.
Also, maybe not the most dangerous one, but the early Rolling Log looked scary as hell. Especially the Sandan version. That log could fall off the track so easily it wasn't even funny. Hell, there was that guy who managed to pull it backwards off the track, and would have badly hurt himself if he didn't let go. I would never trust my body weight on that log.

I would have to say the Spinning Log (SASUKE 2 version), also known as the Burasagari Maruta. The one in the first tournament didn't look that intimidating because there was a safety mat underneath for people to fall on if they've failed. However, once it was moved outside, they put these pad-like logs (which seemed pretty hard) underneath the obstacle over the water for some reason. I don't really know for myself if anyone has gotten injured in failing the obstacle in SASUKE 2, but when I first saw a couple of people fail it, including Naoki Iketani when he landed on his side and barely hitting his head against the pad of logs, I was pretty much cringing in fear for someone else to fall and really hurt themselves.

When it comes to the most injuries it has to be the Rope Glider. When it comes to worst injury it's the HPA in sasuke 27.

Fair enough that this is in the Sasuke subforum but I guess you could argue that anything with significant height is likely to be a source of harm if the competitor misses, namely the Mega Wall.
I feel like anything where there is a big chance of getting course outed is also going to be a problem, for example, if Drew didn't stop himself in time he could've killed his tailbone coming out of the Backstream last year.

***THE SHOULDER WALK*** from Sasuke 18, how has this not been mentioned yet?? I cringe every time I watch the 3 times it was in action, just imagine a contestant tripping and getting smashed in the face with a 10 kilogram swinging lump of metal.

Ahh why not the Backstream? Not everyone can swim, and not everyone can handle the jet underwater.

The Flying Bar. In Sasuke 32 and 33 (where over the two tournaments, only one Japanese competitor passed it), it was causing some major damage to the Japanese's reputation, especially with the American's - flying - through it. Although on a more serious note, if they hadn't added that wire and the bar was still loose, it might be able to fall down and hit your head after you have fallen. Also note that it is a sizable fall, but hopefully the water would help stop any large injuries.

Plus in 32, it was a lot harder later in the stage because of the rain, causing the bar to slip off the cradles more easily. This caused Tomohiro to fail the first transition easily, whereas Ragivaru came close to beating it all together, but lost grip on the last cradle (probably because the bar was getting slippery as well due to rain). Anyhow, I feel that they probably had a higher risk of getting injured that way, like slipping off the cradle and falling into the water wrong while still holding on to the bar. That's my theory.

Strange that no one mentioned Spider Climb in the final round (5-17). The fall after the failure is terrifying, strange that no one hit a side wall while falling (bumpei approached if I haven't forgotten)
