And they decide to take the top 3 competitors from every country that has it's own version of Sasuke/Ninja Warrior. Who would you choose to represent the following countries:
Japan Vietnam Indonesia America United Kingdom France Germany Romania Netherlands Russia Australia Italy Spain Barbados China Turkey Sweden Saudi Arabia Denmark Malaysia Switzerland Austria Hungary
This list would lead to some of the best in the world competing for the title of Grand Champion as an individual and whichever team does the best overall would win the World Cup. Who is deserving to be on each team? Which countries shouldn't be considered at all? Thought this would be a fun discussion.

So would Drew take a slot of top 3 America or top 3 Japan?

I think it could work as team of three such as team ninja warrior (two guys and one woman)

I think it could work as team of three such as team ninja warrior (two guys and one woman) It would, but Graff/Labreck/Stockett (Take your pick) would crush anyone else worldwide for women save maybe Olivia Vivian.

For Japan if they did a 2 men 1 women rule it be Yusuke, Tomo (or maybe Hioki) and then Hikari Izumi.
USA you could really just stuff Geoff, Drew, and Jessie and they would tears really any course apart

Depends on what the whole thing is about, I guess, like is it a 'speed' based and scored competition? Also, the sorts of obstacles, like if they have a lot of lower body, upper body or both types of obstacles, then that could also determine who you'd pick.

I would say the difficulty of the course (4 stages) would be between Sasuke and ANW. Stage 1 is lower-body intensive. Stage 2 is a Sasuke-Style sprint with a VERY strict time limit, but not limited to Sasuke obstacles. Stage 3 is anything Sasuke/ANW current era, and Stage 4 is the current Sasuke one with the same time limit.

I mean why wouldn't they have a single elimination tournament to determine the BEST IN THE WORLD, have qualifying matches for it, then it's an all-American field. Then during the tournament some authority figure steps in and win the tournament as an alternate

how would it work? i assume have every member of a team of four run 1-4 like an ANW regular season? eg: get 1 point for completing each obstacle and extra 3 points for clearing the stage. last man standing from countries with one competitor going the farthest of the entire competition gets 5 extra points for their country. four all-stars style challenges: mega wall, super salmon, wicked wingnuts and striding steps; gold gets 10 pts, silver 8, bronze 5 (one representative per country, each person runs one thing). 3 points awarded for clearing the first part of the challenge (ie: wicked wingnuts - the first 13ft transfer, super salmon and striding steps - just completing the damn thing; mega wall - completing first wall). points are totalled afterward, whoever gets the most points wins the NW olympics! that's how i envision it at least three men and one woman imo

I don't really know about some of the countries, but I'll try my best. Note, this is strictly based off of who is the best of the best in my opinion.
Japan: Morimoto Yusuke (duh), Kawaguchi Tomohiro, and Sato Jun. I would go Hioki Masashi, but Jun brings much-needed speed to the team. Vietnam: Le Van Thuc, Nguyen Phoc Hunyh, and Bui Huong Hai. I don't have results for SASUKE Vietnam 4, so my picks might be spotty. Indonesia: Asrul Sani, Yosua Zalakhu, and Tri Mardyanto. USA: Drew Dreschel, Josh Levin, and Joe Moravsky UK: Tim Shieff, Jonny Urzusly, and Ali Hay. Tempted to go with Brendan Riley or Cain Clarke, but Ali's fast. France: Mehdi Hadim, Valentin Dubois, and Thomas Ballet. Maybe Sean McColl, but he hasn't really competed in Ninja Warrior France. Germany: Oliver Edelmann, Max Sprenger, and Moritz Hans Romania: N/A Russia: N/A Netherland: I really don't know of any Dutch competitors besides Perry Oosterlee, but he would be up for sure. Australia: Ben Polson, Fred Dorrington, and Ashlin Herbert. Italy: N/A Spain: Sergio Verdasco, Eric Lopez, Javier Cano Barbados: N/A China: Haibin Qu, Yiqi Li, and Bin Fang. Not sure if any of these guys have actually competed on X Warrior, but Ok. Sweden: Alexander Mars, Andre Sihm, and Oskar Orn. Turkey: N/A Denmark: Bjarke Tonnesen, Ossur Eriksfoss, Niklas Ejstup Malaysia: Mohammed Isham, Mat Redho, Sufian. Switzerland: N/A Austria: N/A Hungary: N/A
