Sasuke 18 while all new was barely harder then SASUKE 17.
The Rope glider and log grip were harder then the steps and rolling log but not much more was if we are being honest.
The obstalces were so basic that left the same would have resulted in more then 10 clears next time.
The pole maze was a *slightly harder poll valt
The jumping spider was basically a straight vertical jump into a spider walk
The bungi bridge was well .....
Great wall just required correct jump to rope
The flighing chute was simply slide down onto a rope and grab a net not hard at all.
Final climb easier then rope climb
Stage 2 the salmon ladder was harder but not much else get the hang of that and you beat stage 2.
Stage 3 only the shin cliff hanger was harder then the rest and the final ring, but seriously with in a few
Final stage was easier
It is for these reasons that I feel that SASUKE 19s up in difficulty was justified.

To be fair Almost all of stage 1 was HEAVILY modified and required a different approach. The rope glider is pretty tricky to understand when to let go and how to stop your own momentum. The jumping spider is basically 2 obstacles combined into 1 and it took quite a bit for people to get the idea of how to clear it. Bunpei's usual 1 legged trick doesn't work as well on this (though I know someone in 21 I believe? Who made it work) so he had to rely on a solid jump to clear it. I think the legit only obstacle that was almost the same was the wall. The Flying chute was EVIL during its life being an easy place to literally fly into the net in the water! I get what you're saying, SASUKE 18 was a real test of the new obstacles and 19 gave them a slight update to most (which was VERY noticeable as we all know) or outright replacing them (Rope Glider/Bungee Bridge/Great Wall). Life after Nagano's victory will never be the same again.
