I was watching Tim Shieff's latest video (I like to keep up to date with the guy coz I think he's great) and then he said this at 13:30 in the video:
Yes, that's right, it turns out that Owen 'the stuff' McKenzie should have been disqualified - THREE TIMES! In stage 2, first he touched the metal part on top of a rope in rope jungle, then he jumped off the salmon ladder onto the platform not once but twice! So really, Tim Shieff is a three time NWUK champion. I can't believe the producers did that, in total shock right now, the first Ninja Warrior show to completely disobey the rules - and it's the UK! I mean, WHAT!!!!!! Anyone else think this is going too far?

Sasuke has had many instances of obstacle rulings changing, questionable DQ rules, reruns and more, including for competitors like Nagano, Yamada and Levi Meeuemberg. ANW has changed clock times many times and Ninja Warrior Turkey flat out gave competitors multiple runs. Yeah this ain't ideal but a few questionable rulings regarding what constitutes a DQ/Course Out hardly means "ignoring the rules" and isn't even that bad or major given the context. These things happen sometimes.

Yeah but Sasuke re-runs are normally because of obstacle malfunction eg. Nagano in 23 on the slider jump and ANW changing clock times isn't exactly changing who the winner of the season is and I'm pretty sure it was Bahrain and not Turkey which let competitors re-run if they didn't get the result they wanted and that had a small and bad course so I think this is worse IMO.

Turkey had reruns on the course along with TNW College Madness. I think Bahrain didn't do too well since it didn't had too much

McKenzie is s*** period, he could barely complete stage 1 vegas with over 4 minutes time and full rest between each obstacle.

Dang, I'm late to this. Not surprised, just disappointed in Owen. His behavior on and off the course isn't the caring and kind ninja community we familiarize ourselves with either. I hope he can redeem himself in the upcoming years if he decides to keep doing Ninja. I also hope now this info is out that Tim Shieff can be properly decorated as the LMS or NWUK 2.

I doubt it'll happen, after all NWUK is purely a TV show as opposed to a show which at least cares a little about the ninjas. In regards to Owen, I don't think he was invited back for NWUK5 after his 2 early falls in a row but you might have to get that checked up with someone who was there for the filming.

NWUK is easily the shadiest ninja show (you'll learn later) and it kinda has become known for only being for reality tv and not a competition. Anything4views.... They have a brutal tendency to not give callbacks so Owen is screwed.

Can we seriously institute a rule to NOT pull that s***? "I know something you don't but I can't tell you" then why bother saying anything at all?
