Seems the ex-Spike channel is playing old episodes of ANW. Currently its playing 2015's ANW. Weird that it's not on Esquire.

It's not on Esquire because Esquire no longer exists. It ended in June last year. It was supposed to transition to an online-only model but that also seems to have gone down the wayside. Seems like it's only been airing there no longer than the past couple of weeks. Given Paramount is owned by Viacom and not Comcast, it appears as though Paramount has gotten the rights to air the older episodes there. ANW 6 happens to be airing on mynetworkTV (who is owned by FOX) as well.

Nickelodeon just started airing ANW this week with Season 8. One-hour episodes weekdays at 7/6c.
Viacom owns Paramount, Nickelodeon, CMT (Broken Skull Challenge), etc.
Viacom is also about to merge with CBS (Million Dollar Mile, TKO).

Seems it was a one week thing for Nickelodeon.
The airings on NBC Sports were really random. Once in a while they'd marathon for several hours each day over a few weekdays and maybe have another the next week or something. But sporadic schedules are a staple of sports channels.
Forgot to mention this a while back, NBC has been airing 2 hour reruns of ANW half an hour after Saturday Night Live for a long time now. It was mainly the more recent seasons, but they're currently on Season 4. They should be starting Vegas in three weeks, I think. It was back when episodes were an hour long with two or three of the finals being two hours long.

Just realized it's only my local NBC station that's airing it, at least. At this time slot, each local affiliate airs whatever they want.
The ABC channel here has also been airing Wipeout. Started with Season 4 and is now on Season 5.
