Where does Kane Kosugi rank amongst the all-time greats? Personally,he's top 20 for me for influencing the show.Without him, there would be no All-Stars.He was also very consistent during his time on the show, making the Third Stage multiple times and still is,to this day,the only American to ever make the Final Stage.

His influence in promoting the show early on was undeniable. He was basically the biggest star of the most popular era of the show, and on top of that, actually had great runs to back up his star power and was amongst the top tier of competitors of the era. Even if he didn't show up to all of them, 1 2nd Stage, 3 3rd Stages and 1 Final Stage/Last Man Standing on a practically untested final was still top notch.

He’s number 28 for me. I enjoy his runs but honestly wished he would compete more. That’s the sole reason even Katsumi outshines him by a spot.
