www.geocities.jp/r_0308_xyz/s.zekken.htmlIt's a list of numbers 1 - 100 (plus a slot for unnumbered contestants) and who got the farthest (as far as this person knows) with that number, current as of SASUKE 22 (hence it's inclusion here). Some interesting notes: Numbers 86 - 100 are the cream of the crop (nothing lower than the 3rd Stage) - but 85 seems to be the kiss of death since no one has made it to the 2nd Stage with that number. If not for 85, numbers 64 - 100 would have at least one person making the 2nd Stage. According to the data on the bottom, Hiroyuki Asaoka and Shingo Yamamoto have had the most success with the most varied amount of numbers (they appear 5 times each on the list), then Makoto Nagano (4), Takeda (3 although I think he's also counting his no number appearance in 18) then a handful of people at 2 each. David Campbell is on the list as the furthest number 50. Several other competitors from 22 are there too: Tomoyo Haga (26), Tatsumi (44), Yuuji Urushihara (77), Lee Enchi (79), Yoshiyuki Okuyama (84).

Babelfish translates Koji Yamada as 'Healthy Osamu Yamada.' I think G4 should have gone with that name instead of Yasushi.
EDIT: Whaaaaat? 'The mosquito net firewood it is you.' 'The garden plant it is heavy Sato.' 'Kawasima filial piety happiness.' 'Relations rice field health.'
Takamasa is 'Nagasaki hardness government.'
Yuta Adachi's is LOL ... 'The Adachi male it is thick.'

It's an amusing coincidence that you find this on the weekend of the Kentucky Derby. A neat extension of this exercise would be to see the total amount of clears by number, so we could really over-analyze since, as you know, skill has nothing to do with Sasuke (I'd stay away from 12, 15, 27, and 37)
