OK, little thing i just thought about. Why does everybody HATE SASUKE 25? Personally for me along with all kanzenseiha tournaments, 5, 3 and 23 it was one of my favourite tournaments! My 2 personal favourite warriors Shingo and Takeda cleared, nice mix of new and old obstacles, Akiyama getting pretty far into Stage One, all SASUKE 24 finalists clearing the first stage, and for people who like surprising results you had Nagano's circle slider fail, Yuuji and Takeda's double salmon ladder fail and Kanno and Shingo's balance tank fails! Yet despite all of this, not only do people HATE this tournament, it also had the lowest ratings in SASUKE history! So i'm just wondering why? Why do people hate this tournament so much?

Where did you see anyone hating on 25? It was a good tournament IMO. Going into it I can imagine a lot of people expected a Sasuke 18-esque type of renewal, but what we got was still very cool, and many were satisfied. It was my first live tournament on here and I remember it fondly.
Also low ratings, as I'd assume you know, have little to do with the actual quality of the show. It probably was up against some stiff competition that day, and a little before that time in particular was when we started seeing Sasuke ratings drop in general.

Ditto. I loved this tournament in every shape of the word! Shingo pulls the number 90 and takes the all star name the farthest, Yuuji’s awkward fail in the 2nd stage, Nagano and Hioki’s dive bomb on the circle slider, it’s pure fun!

The tournament was good but I think it was the placement of the numbers that got people mad. Like four of the five finalists from the last tournament got numbers like 60,40,50 the highest number being 80 (Lee Yen Chi).

True, but the numbers were decided through lottery, with the exception of Akiyama, Nagano and Yuuji, getting 98, 99 and 100 respectively due to them being the only ones to achieve kanzenseiha at the time.

I'm pretty sure Arsenette did a great write up on this– not necessarily about the hate towards the content of the tournament itself but the ratings trends that led to the absolute plummet in ratings that occurred that night.

Agreed not just with this but with the others as well that I'm not sure where anyone is getting the "hate" for 25. I rather liked the tournament and it was a departure to how the rest was done. The problem was the timing so quickly after 24's EPIC airing that they cut this one really short and only a couple months after the New Year's Kanzenseiha extravaganza that was Sasuke 24. They also had no celebs and did the whole prefecture thing (which honestly I liked a lot). Most people had no idea that sucker was even on television and the ratings sucked so bad that Sasuke 26 took almost a year to come back.. we also know wtf happened in 27 which closed out the Monster 9 era.

Older obstacles in stage 1 and UCH disappointment.

I'm still contending though.. who is "everyone" that "hated" 25?

I'm still contending though.. who is "everyone" that "hated" 25? I've seen it at like number 3 on top worst lists (Not on this site.), behind 28 and 32. Also Zach, if you don't mind me asking out of curiosity, why did you dislike 26 and 29? Not my some of my favourites or anything, but I did not particularly hate them or anything.

25 was a nice tournament that I've rewatched a fair few times. I haven't rewatched any tournaments from 32 onwards because they're not worth it bar a few moments. With 25 the broadcast was smooth and easy to watch with some exciting new and rehashed obstacles. There were no sad moments like in 24, mostly hilarious ones actually. Stage 1 was entertaining with a fun set of obstacles and even more fun-to-watch runs. In hindsight the 2nd stage was a clusterf*ck of random fails that didn't make sense, and even then it was still entertaining.
Then to see everyone sh*t themselves in Stage 3 was priceless.
