I did this for ANW as well, but Sasuke deserves its own thread for this for multiple reasons. For one, Sasuke is approaching its 35th tournament. Ratings have gone down for this show quite a bit. The course is getting repetitive, and nobody has beaten that Stage 3 combo. The days of Sasuke might possibly be numbered, but I'm personally unsure due to the fact that it is the ORIGINAL. Therefore, I ask: How much longer until Sasuke is gone? How will it affect shows like Kunoichi or other spinoffs?

I always think it's ending but it never does.
I'll just say 10 more tournaments as it seems like it's going to continue for a while now.

It's been technically canceled before, but there hasn't been a significant period where it was gone because there was always a way it could be brought back. When Banzuke was canceled, they just made Sasuke its own show. When Monster9 went bankrupt, TBS decided to produce it themselves and brought back Inui. For all my talk of having to accept the circumstances its in, I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's still going on past this decade.

I will be surprised if it survives past the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Without NBC getting involved, Esquire gone and that money gone I don't see it passing that mark. That was the benchmark from last year and it's still relevant now.

Honestly,if SASUKE does end for good,I can easily see all of the top stars moving on to KuroOvi.Then again,it would probably prevent them from competing in places like Vietnam and Indonesia, but who knows?

They will have a huge amount of qualified athletes, especially since climbing is a new sport for 2020.

People probably got confused because of how different it is in America, usually when an athlete competes in ANW they compete because they want to compete, athletes in Sasuke go through the same process other celebs get, having to go through the manager and paying a booking fee.
