I've been a watcher of ANW since the begging, however I recently (within the last week), discovered that there is an original Japanese format and having seen a few bits and pieces of it scattered all of the internet I'm wondering if there is a place to watch any of the tournaments I may have missed? I'm not looking for downloads but something streaming. I'm assuming the answer is no seeing as how after a week of searching I've got nothing to show for it other than half competions on dailymotion.

With all due respect, how have you not heard of Sasuke if you've been watching ANW since the beginning? The first three seasons were all about sending the best competitors to be on Sasuke; I haven't seen much of the early seasons myself, but surely it should've been mentioned that "Hey, we're sending these guys to be on the show that inspired ours," right? Sorry if I sound like I'm being a bit hard on you, I'm just curious.

Well, considering I consider the begging of ANW when they changed it to the current format. The 1st 3 seasons were known as America Ninja Challange l believe. I was going back and watching the 1st season and that's when the discovery actually occurred for me.

It's ILLEGAL to ask this question here . The Sasuke Maniac Forum Rules said: Rule #8: Posting of copyrighted material (such as Sasuke videos) is not allowed on this forum. This includes links to this material on YouTube and other video hosting sites. Asking where or how to download will get your thread deleted and you will receive a 50% warning. Asking a second time will result in a temporary 7-day ban. Posting where or how to download will get your post (if not the whole thread) deleted, and you will receive a temporary 14 day ban. Circumventing the bans by making a new account will result in a permanent ban.For what it's worth, I'm proud that I discovered SASUKE even before I discovered Ninja Warrior since the Vietnamese version of it is called SASUKE .

Not true, the American Ninja Challenge was pretty much a video contest with finals on another G4 show called Attack of the Show, there were 4 of those that sent competitors to tournaments 19, 20, 21 and 22 respectively, American Ninja Warrior was created because ANC was getting too big and G4 saw it as an opportunity to get more content for their network so ANW1 happened and sent 10 competitors to Sasuke 23, then 2 and 3 sent competitors to 26 and 27, then Monster9 (the creators of Sasuke) went bankrupt and Sasuke was canceled and G4 was left in a bad spot because their highest rated show was in jeopardy and this was also when NBC wanted to get involved since the ANW3 finals that were sent to NBC just so G4 can get publicity did better than they expected, especially on a sunday night timeslot which wouldn't draw good ratings anyways, so they realized they had something on their hands there and got involved, but with Sasuke canceled they were in a bad spot and had to make the Vegas course. TBS decided to revive Sasuke in house for the most part and it revived but ANW continued to do the Vegas courses since they could produce more content that way.

Oh, nice little bit of trivia that I did not know about why they built the Vegas course if they had the other one in Japan.
