Kinda ironic, and rare, a guy named "Sasuke" competing in a show named "Sasuke." Though, there was another guy named Sasuke who competed way before him, and we all know how he did... Half the time I search Sasuke I end up getting the results for the Naruto character. It's hard to look up things like that tbh. I usually have to get VERY creative. Also there's that Mr. SASUKE guy but his last run was less than stellar but he beat out a few major stars so... not exactly the worst for him. (Spoilered because SASUKE 33 related run)

I know in Sasuke 3 that The Great Sasuke ran, and I think we all know none of these titles were for that run... Don't you mean The Great Ninja Warrior?

I was too terrified if I was called out for it so that's why I did.

While I appreciated the fact that Drew Dreschel and Jessie Graff are in, I am still disappointed Geoff didn't participate.
I hope this time a woman will make history in Sasuke 34.

The final two are the two remaining champions who are active during the proper 20th year anniversary tournament. He's been 99 more than any other number and this is his 3rd time at 99 since the Rising era started. It's not actually that confusing.

Something I think is relevant (given he'll be a focal point as he has been): Darvish has done futsal training (futsal is essentially association football/soccer on a smaller, indoor hard-court with rules such as unlimited subs, 20 minute half and a timeout per half for each team) to prepare his cardio after his epic fall from the top of the Lumberjack Climb in 33.
