Yuuji in the 27th. It became the first and so far only time that it has been accomplished twice

I would say Nagano in 17. Because of the distance between Nagano's and Akiyama's.

Why compare? They're all great and unique in their own ways.

I chose Nagano because he inspired so may others to compete and it ushered in the most drastic change in the course.

Yusuke in terms of course difficulty; Nagano in terms of historical impact

Yuuji's for me have a bias because I saw those live (compared to Nagano's) but the sheer trajectory of Yuuji's Sasuke career up to his 2nd win will be unmatched:
21: decent effort but failed First Stage, wasn't shown in broadcast 22: Final Stage appearance, feet from the finish (most viewers' first instance of Yuuji) 23: fluke Unstable Bridge failure 24: Kanzenseiha, the only of five to beat it 25: flukiest Double Salmon Ladder failure 26: fluke Half-Pipe Attack failure after Jumping Spider save 27: Kanzenseiha, faster than the first one
You can make the argument that he gets in his head easily, but you can't deny when Yuuji is on, he's on. He went 3 for 3 in Stage 3 during that time. Didn't fail Stage 3 until after he had already won twice. Even Nagano and Yusuke can't say that (they both got stopped on the final obstacle in Stage 3 their first tries at the stage). No one else has been to the Final five times like Nagano. Yusuke is the youngest to ever do it (and shares with Akiyama a 100% clear rate on Stage 4). But no one else has beaten the course twice, never mind doing it a year apart.

Nagano's of course, after 3 failed attempts and last kanzenseiha was over 5 years ago, it felt really good to see nagano nail it.
