Darvish's fail elicited one of my biggest reactions of the last few tourneys.
Other than that, this tourney was enjoyable but kinda average. I feel like I won't remember most of the details in a few years and it will kind of blur together with other tourneys.
I think I'm in a minority that really liked Sasuke 32, problems and all. At least it was super memorable.

At least it was super memorable. I feel the same way, tbh. Darvish, all the surprise fails and the Takeda comeback were pretty memorable, not to mention some of the double pendulum and fishbone saves (Morimoto!). Second Stage getting its danger back was also pretty sweet. The editing was definitely better, but the whole thing did blur a little bit, like you say I think with time this'll become an average tournament with a couple of key 'WHAM' moments. Started great, but ran out of steam. I do like 32. I can't articulate why, given it did have a bad edit and an awful Stage 2, but for some reason it did just feel really epic.

TAKEDA was a highlight of this for me too. Stages 1 and 2 were fun 3 was blergh as we already had that moment of the ucch being beat before. Bad omen for a clear in 34 of stage 3 but who knows?

SASUKE was trending worldwide again. It was in the Top 10 about a half an hour ago.

What did people think of Kanno yuuji and Ragivarus expertise at the rolling hill?

But I don't really see where people are getting off on this tourney having better editing than 32. Anyone care to explain why they hold that opinion? Just curious.
Because I certainly know it's not the treatment of the female competitors, lol... complete FF this tourney.

What did people think of Kanno yuuji and Ragivarus expertise at the rolling hill? Those near-heart attacks nagano gave us the past 2 times finally became something bigger than that

What did people think of Kanno yuuji and Ragivarus expertise at the rolling hill? Kanno has always been one of my favorites, as well as Ryo, so seeing them both go out on Stage One AGAIN is the type of thing that stays with me for the whole tournament. I feel like Yuuji has just ran out of gas on the course in general, but he already beat the whole thing twice so he earned some crappy failures for me.

Stage 1 was great. Other than some really shocking falls from the top guns, I really enjoyed it. It's always good to see newbies in Stage 2.
Stage 2 had gave me the feeling that was missing since 29. I am always a fa of strict time limits, and the first obstacle really made it feel like a race. Salmon Ladder was shockingly a killer this time and after 20 tournaments they somehow have a tough Conveyor Belt.
Inui will probably laugh at Stage 3. No one got to experience the torture he planned at the end! Honestly Flying Bar fails make me cringe now.

Damn. The Flying Bar still proved brutal. Looks like this obstacle is not gg anywhere soon. The lighting looks a little dim though.

What did people think of Kanno yuuji and Ragivarus expertise at the rolling hill? I literally faint when I saw both of them failed at this obstacle.

Btw I feel so validated in my opinion of the flying bars. I've been saying for years that I don't like them early in the stage. This type of obstacle is PERFECT for the end (well, Pipe Slider is the best, but this is a good replacement). It just doesn't make any sense early on. Stage 3 failures are good when people run out of strength, not because they miss some dumb precision jump. That's only interesting when you put it at the end. By then, you're totally gassed so you have to try and get through the obstacle quickly. The big problem is, you have to take your time because it's a precision obstacle. That's why it works so well as a final obstacle. It's a really cool aspect to the pipe slide and flying bars, but that totally doesn't work as obstacle 2. It's also much more heartbreaking to miss a precision jump at the end of stage 3 after going through all of that bulls**t.

Personally I really enjoyed the tournament. But I hate the new rope on the flying bar now. It just seems to have added another layer of difficulty to an already hard obstacle. Hopefully they change that next time but I am not expecting it

I'm in love in the Cliffhanger clear song and chose to put on headphones during Drew's run to enjoy it. What a bummer.

Chat experience was way better this time as was only people who got invited/knew their way around mibbit client =P Overall tournament was great, fully expect guessing game to be a complete shambles from the results though! Apart from Flying Bar shenanigans was great throughout and fishbone wasn't as deadly as I thought it would be! Can't wait (hopefully!) for 34!

I noted that Nagano's commentary was EXACTLY same stuff as what he utters while cheering for all-stars. In fact it wasn't a commentary at all...
"ok" "good" "yes" "go!" "go now (during Fish Bone)" "there you go" "hurry hurry" "relax, relax" "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?! (to Kanno)"

Wow, that flying bar was absolutely CRAZY.
Also, Drew was really strong once again, but man, that UCCH....
