In order to account for new SASUKE competitors who have risen in recent years, the other staff members and myself have decided to update the ranking system here on SMF. How many spots does it have now, you ask? Well, it has... 70 different levels! In the list of levels, we decided to include a variety of notable competitors (most of whom competed numerous times), coming from all eras of SASUKE. At the bottom are primarily joke competitors and later-stage wannabes, but as you move up through the ranks, you'll see many legendary competitors known for doing well, culminating with the top four ranks being held by the four SASUKE champions. All levels and the corresponding number of posts needed to reach that level are next to their respective competitors' names. Note that previous names in the ranking system are highlighted in yellow, while "newcomers" are in green. *Also, please do not start complaining about this person being higher than this or why this person wasn't on the list, etc. This is all for fun, and shouldn't matter that much to argue over.

I really want David to reach his own level now lol. Really nice work by the way, everyone really fits in and theres no blatantly archaic placements as there were before.

Rip my initial Wakky rank. Oh well , I'll get it back soon.

does the ranking leads towards to access to the media center? No, EVERY. SINGLE. MEMBER needs to ask permission for access. What's with you and wanting to get into the media center so badly?

I've been curious about this for a long time, and this seems as relevant a place to ask as any.
What do the stars underneath our usernames mean? They change both number and colour and while I though they were some kind of alternate post count indicator, that doesn't seem to be the case?

They change both number and colour and while I though they were some kind of alternate post count indicator, that doesn't seem to be the case? For every rank that you move up, you gain another star (up to 5 for each color). Once you reach the next rank after each set of 5 stars, you move up to a new set of stars, albeit with a new color. While I don't know the exact breakdown ( Anshin should be able to answer that), it is essentially another indicator of what your current rank is. Hope that helps!

While I don't know the exact breakdown ( Anshin should be able to answer that), it is essentially another indicator of what your current rank is. Hope that helps! That's basically it. You start out with the default set of stars, going up 1-5 of those stars, then move to the next color, 1-5 of that color, and so on, until you reach max rank. You don't change color every rank, but you do change the number of stars every rank (after 50 posts).
