Doing another stream this Sunday and this time it's on 18. EDIT: THIS IS THE STREAM twitch.tv/vhtlive
Sorry for the confusion
It's early March of 2007, and Ushio Higuchi is back to give us Sasuke 18. This was the first competition after Makoto Nagano's Kanzenseiha in 2006, and behind the scenes, the designers gave us a program intended for all 100 competitors to fail the 1st Stage. It starts with a weird race and ends with a spooky shot of the Final Stage, which wouldn't be reached for another 2 years. Watch it all again and see the look on people's faces when they see the new course.
Show starts at 4pm PDT, Sasuke at 5:oo. Hope you stop by!

SASUKE 18 was a weird tourney for me but I barely remember much of it. All I remember is Takamasa cleared... then straight afterwards we had the start of Shingo's temporary decline...

I found 18 rather boring honestly. I think the Ninja Warrior episodes on it were nicer to watch than the Japanese broadcast.

Temporary? well he got a spike in 23 and smaller ones in 25, 29, and 30. Ok maybe temporary isn't a good word... Gah I can't admit it...

Since Nagano's victory, Shingo's been at a continual downslope in runs. But one thing, he never gave up. He still isn't. But seriously can we focus on the topic instead of Shingo because we're getting derailed... I need to study up on SASUKE 18 stuff beforehand.
