So I've been looking at the technique that competitors use to pass some obstacles lately. Some competitors have developed distinct ways of clearing certain obstacles, ways that little to no other people use.
A great example is Kenji Takahashi on the Shin-Cliffhanger. Instead of jumping from the second the third ledge, he reaches one arm across the gap and grabs onto the third ledge (called the "Kong Cross" by some). If I remember correctly, he was the only competitor to ever do this. Another example is Bunpei Shiratori jumping off the Jump Hang's trampoline with only one foot.
Are there any other significant unique strategies like these used by other competitors? These were the two most apparent ones I could think of off the top of my head.

Takeda's half Warped Wall (when there was a shortened track). They literally had to change the placement of the Warped Wall entry to accommodate how Takeda would Takeda™ up the wall.

This ones kind of obvious, but bunpei on the jump hang. It worked for him too, making him the only all star not to fail the jump hang, well until sasuke 31.

That didn't work so well though... The only ones I can think of that haven't been said are Yamada on the steps and Lee En-Chih on the Log Grip.

What about how Takeda did the Slider Jump in 24? That was sort of a 1 time thing but you didn't really see anyone else do that. Also you know what I'm remembering, when Miyazaki'ing was a thing on the HPA, you know, before that became almost standard for people to do

David Campbell grabbing the top of the Rope Ladder.
There was a competitor in 23, whose name I don't know, who did the Salmon Ladder in a strange yet very fast way (I think the same one who got DQ'd for using his legs on the same obstacle).

That guy in Sasuke 24 (forgot his name but he became famous again during Rising), wearing all red.
The way he moved through the unstable bridge was incredible. Too bad he did the Yuuji fail at the dismount.

That was Kawaguchi Tomohiro, he would go on to be a finalist in Sasuke 30 (and even competed for Team Japan in ANW Vs The World but let's not bring in controversy to this thread )

Size matters on SASUKE. So no one said anything about Terek's infamous technique he did on the pole maze where he just obliterates it

I mean you could say Tajima had his own way of trying the gliding ring, albeit a poor way but still

I associate the original technique of the original Salmon Ladder with Yuji Washimi (swinging legs in like you were dismounting the Pipe Slider instead of the now standard straight up). He also did a different technique in 24 where he kips-up by swinging his legs out where if he messed up like Takamasa did in 18, he would fling himself off.

Paul Terek using his feet on the Curtain Cling. Even though that was just one example from him, it was unique.

That made me chuckle hard. Thanks for the laughs. Hashimoto on the Rolling Escargot in SASUKE 28. He placed his body on the very bottom of the obstacle and his hands were fully extended to the top. Also, it's not very unique but Yamada's way of clearing the Godantobi has always caught my attention. He would always seem to clear this much quicker than any other competitor.
