OK, All the places I've done the Cliffhanger aren't around anymore. But I have no budget to build a cliffhanger and if I did I have no place to build one. What should I do?

Have any ledges around or in your house? As long as you can hold yourself up on them, you should be able to cross them.

The closest to ledges in my house is the one railing in the hall which is unstable and the track for the shower doors and that kind of shakes, has sharpish corners which is painful and I don't have enough room to move on them anyways. Neither of which if I thought it was a good idea to hold on would have the jump
Around my house I don't have any.

Use the ledge on the wall above the door. It's thinner than the actual Cliffhanger but if you can hang on that, the cliff hanger will be a breeze.

Can't unless I hold on from both sides and even then I can't move forwards or back. Besides that they're usually dusty.

Why can't you? Too hard? Any ledge works... just find 1 ledge. A ladder, bleachers, a deck, door frames. So many ways to practice for it.

I've got the old Cliffhanger down, It's more the Shin Cliffhanger I'm trying to do. I think I have tons of Regular Cliffhangers I can do. Hell, I've done Devil Steps into a Ciffhanger, I think next time I'm going to try doing that and then taking on the next set of steps.

You can't do a shin-cliff without building one, unless you get really lucky with finding somewhere that looks really similar.

Too bad... save up money for a 5$ peice of wood.. Srsly aI built my clifhanger and only spent 8 dollars. And I bought enough wood for 2 cliffhangers...
DOn't tell me you do't have 5 dollars... if you don't I'm sure you can earn 5 dollars by picking up any coins you find on the street. Seriously in a weeks time you could probably pick up 5 bucks in coins.

Why would 10 meters of 1 inch thick wood cost that much money? It's friggen wood.
If you don't have a place to build it, tough luck, that sucks.
Practice a different obstacle, or don't practice at all. I find the chances of you actually getting ontot he show very low anyway, just practices the obstacles that you can.

Well excuse me for not checking the prices of raw material. Well if Sasuke lasts until 32 I might have a chance... Granted the Shin Cliffhanger might be gone by then... But the point is the Shin Cliffhanger is still fun!

Try practicing for a first stage obstacle, since the chances of you making it to stage 3 are relatively low in the first place.
Get a trampoline and practice the jumping spider. That's a lot more fun than screwing up your hands doing the cliff-hanger.

They way I do the Shin-Cliffhanger is I have a balcony, I make it so I only have the right length to hold onto with my fingers, and stacked books to block off a large section of it which is actually better. What is the advantage of this? Instead of swing to a lower ledge, I'm swinging to an equal ledge, AND I have a blocker to get around. I put something slick on top of the books so if I as much as touch it down I go. I did allow myself extra room for the landing which is reasonable since that is the way the real one works, and I cannot grab onto the side, which is the most popular way to do it.

I have a club house in my backyard that has a small ledge and part of that is too far inward to reach, so I have to go around that. That's how I do the Cliffhanger.
