Yeh, 1st episode goes out on Sat April 11th at 19:00, so primetime slot on ITV - really hope it gets the viewing figures to get a 2nd (and more..) season. I would guess at 6 episodes based on the number of filming sessions, but I'm no TV producer ! Back there tomorrow to watch the finals Hasn't been advertised at all really and the facebook page only has 2000 likes :/ Don't want to be a killjoy but ITV can't just assume people are gonna be watching just because its a primetime slot. TV in general isn't as popular as it used to be.

Yeh, with only slightly over a week to go until the first episode I'd hope to have seen *something* in ad breaks etc, tho that said, I don't actually watch much on ITV at the moment to catch them (or see them wizz past on fast forward as is usually the case).
Hopefully we can help get the word around with sharing the FB announcement etc, and maybe after the 1st ep has broadcast it might get noticed. It would be gutting to have waited so long for the UK to finally get it, only for poor advertising to fail it.
I'd guess they're going to have the usual "text answer to 123456" to win..." competitions in the breaks, as several of the link pieces they shot were of that sort of wording "...and find out how you can win at home,.."

OK, in audience for finals, 1st stage looks likeSteps, pipe slider onto rope, balance bridge (again), big wheel thingy with trampoline (like a giant cycle road wheel), jumping spider (Yay!!), warped.wall, chains, spin bridge, spider climb (chimney climb sounds lame!) 2nd looks like rope.junction, unstable bridge, doorknob grasper, weird wall jump thing, floating boards, cliffhanger, flying bar

Just home, great day, won't spoil peoples enjoyment with results when it's going to be on TV in a matter of a week or so.. My post from inside with the 2nd stage was wrong, when they announced the time limit for stage 2 and I thought it was all those, I was WTF !! 2nd stage was rope jungle, unstable bridge(s), doorknob grasper, wall lift (quite why I couldn't identify that at first I don't know !) - 75 second time limit.. ! 3rd stage - floating boards, cliffhanger, flying bar Really enjoyed watching it live for the first time after so many years of watching Sasuke on TV, hope we get many more seasons to come, and great to meet (briefly) gt4dom and youtubeguy outside afterwards for a quick chat. Made up we've got it in the UK now, hope they keep it in Manchester (or even Liverpool.. the audience warmup guy did mention Echo Arena had been a possible venue). Can't wait to see it all edited together on ITV over the next 2 months.

A few course pics from yesterdays finals.. (good seats/view again!) Steps and Pipe Slider.. (you can see the bottom of the Cliffhanger to the right of the floating boards in the background.) Pipe Slider to Balance Bridge..(unstable bridge, doorknob grasper, wall lift and floating boards in the background) Giant Wheel to Jumping Spider.. Some dodgy looking types hanging around outside afterwards... (note I'm NOT referring to the guy top right on his phone!) Fantastic day/night, really hope I get to watch again (or better!)

I'm scared that it doesn't do well in the ratings. It's right before Britain's got talent and normally people only tune in to ITV when that's on. Let's hope for the best next week!

I'm beginning to worry a bit as well, no one seems to have heard of it , either that it was happening (for those who might have liked to apply and/or watch), or the general TV population. Went for my first adults beginner freerunning lesson at Airborne Academy in Liverpool today (after having wanted to go for many months since finding out about it), and was talking to another lad in the class who didn't even know it was happening and immediately said "ah, I might have liked to apply for that". I know it happened fairly quickly from the initial announcement at xmas to the filming, but it's not like there's a lack of options for ways to advertise it. Hell, with Ninja Warrior the community would probably do half the advertising work just on Twitter,FB etc. For the TV side of things, I really hope that we get some adverts this week, and/or after the 1st episode has aired it gets some good coverage to get people tuning in for the subsequent episodes.

Just got back home, the tournament was incredible and it was well worth the wait for it to come to the UK ^^ We took about 100 pictures overall but we can't show any due to the NDA crap, so I'll wait until the first episode is shown next week and then release a couple What I can say is the structure is 5 weeks of heats, 3 of semis and 1 final, and 14 people ran the final course, no idea how it was determined, with 50 in the semis and 250 people running altogether . Until then you can have another picture of Me (Left), Leigh (Middle) and Hunter (Right) outside the venue after filming finished at 11 o'clock at night Oh also we took about an hours worth of video of the whole day mainly messing around Manchester which I'll post once Hunter's edited it all to see what we did during the day ^^

Was it definately 3 semis ? I went to both recordings on the Wednesday and I thought that was both of the semi finals, last night was obviously the final (and how good was it ! ...teasing everyone who wasn't there!..), and the ITV website says something along the lines of "over the next 8 weeks.." Here's us the right way up

Here's us the right way up Ahh that's makes more sense, I couldn't tell if Kammy said over the past 8 weeks or over the next 8 weeks as the links were weird so it was probably a link for the first episode which would make more sense. Also don't worry too much about an NDA, showing obstacles should be ok, I think it's more saying the results that they would get annoyed with. Oh btw final was really good, without giving too much away the format of the final was incredibly similar to Sweden, even the Miska Cliffhanger was there! Also lol at my eyes being closed, I'm such a plonker

Given how bad some of those link shots were I'm not suprised!

Come on ITV, how hard is it to get the facts right for a show *YOU* produce! The numbers are wrong for the Semi's and Final's too, pretty sure it was 25 in each semi, with top 7 from each going through to the final .. I saw an advert of it while watching You've Been Framed. Finally! Any good?
