You have to post all of it since in isolation the whole thing can get lost. However, we've talked about this before. He is not happy with the direction of how the spin offs are going but he cannot control it. He can only control what happens on his set.

To be fair Japanese-to-English translation is awful so I wasn't sure which ones referred to his rant and which were just comments about Facebook

Yeah so the background on this is someone got hurt badly since the rules in most of the Spin offs are speed runs (something he and I abhor). He also posted a video that dutchninjaperry did for the foreigners relaying a message from Inui. The injury must have been bad (and that should go on the Sasuke Vietnam Season 2 thread) but it is a message he wants all foreigners to understand. He will never show that on television.. ANW would glorify the injury from every angle possible. Again.. fundamental difference between the two shows.

It is terrible to hear about another injury, and I hope whoever it was can make a speedy recovery (if we even know who). But then again... I just don't see how this is a roast. I don't. And honestly, you should have been more respectful when making this thread. Hahahahahaha... someone got seriously injured! Now let's take this unfortunate event and use it to take another shot at ANW! Give me a break. That was never the purpose of Inui's tweet. And in all honestly, how can any of us possible complain about ANW forcing "speed runs" (yes I'm looking at you Arsenette) after that whole timed stage 3 and ridiculously harsh stage 2 in 29. That was just as bad in all honesty. This post annoys me on so many levels. We are supposed to respect and admire competitors, not use their misfortunes to carry a certain narrative or push certain opinions on the forums. End of story.

You missed all the other posts and context of the posts and why he said it. Do your research. He is not happy with what is going on in Vietnam right now. Especially the part where the Americans ignored everything he asked for.

The isolated tweet seems like it's less of a dig at ANW and more about countdown clocks vs top x, considering ANW uses countdowns in Vegas just like Sasuke.
The other tweets and the bigger picture seems like it's more about safety. Did the foreigners or specifically the Americans ignore safety suggestions? Someone got hurt going too fast and one-siding the first obstacle, so he recommended but not required everyone do all the steps and go slower? Is this like Drew-CCH but allowed to continue running?
Google/Bing translate is messy.

Oh it's far more complicated than that. Inui was responding to how the spin offs are copying ANW's theme of fastest first and how certain things won't ever happen in Sasuke but the spin offs are going that route. While Vegas uses timers, the ability to control placement or even be declared winner is directly influenced by being faster than someone else. As for the role of rules in that particular tweet, I wouldn't quite put it in the CCH level because that was a unique circumstance but for comparison as in "permissible" but not "Preferable" then that is a fair comparison. There's a lot more happening that he is responding to that is scattered through different social media so people reading isolated tweets aren't getting the full picture. The situation is bigger than just "please don't go down one side of the steps or you break your ankle like this person did".. Personally I wish the thread wasn't made because it would cause more issues than anything.
