Maybe its better to just stop at the end and just try to swing it like the pipe slider (don't know the gap length) to the net especially if you don't connect at the end with both sides at the same time. Some failed cause one side hit first and lost momentum and some failed when they went too fast and just couldn't grab/hold on the the net.
Thoughts?

I don't think you can after traveling so fast, momentum will swing you away from the bar. Plus, the bar is turning while you're going down.

You need to do 3 things, I think.
1: Go down with speed 2: Keep the bar even 3: Be lucky
Honestly, I think the Slider Jump turns Stage 1 into a legitimate crapshoot. It's not necessarily something you can master immediately which means that anything can and will happen.

Agreed. If you lead too much with one side, it kills all your momentum. I noticed a few people who reached the net, such as Miyazaki, literally throw themselves forwards at the last minute rather than relying on momentum, but that's not necessarily an easy thing to do.

You could swing at the end, at at first I thought that's what you need to do.
If you just jump straight, though, you should be fine.
I really want to build one of these. It looks fun as hell.

The guys will figure it out just as they did with the Flying Chute. It's all about technique and the serious competitors will make one in their backyard and practice every day until Sasuke 23. I would expect many of the top guys who failed it this time to pass next time. Of course they could change something else...

I just noticed something! When Nagano did his run through of it, he DID grab the rope, but the section he grabbed broke in his hands!

You could swing at the end, at at first I thought that's what you need to do. I wondered the same thing. For those with time, why didn't the bar come to a stop, then they just give a quick swing or two and vault to the net?
