I guess the tighter scale of the course just makes the gap look bigger than it is.

I think the issue I am bringing up is that you have literally scores of threads complaining that the courses are dumb-down for the spin offs. Then here they are getting a virtual replica of the USA course built by the people who created it so you don't have room for error (or shoddy craftsmanship like it was for other courses like China) and people are still complaining? I thought the challenge of training an entire country to work their way up to defeat a difficult obstacle would be something to be lauded. That is supposed to be the mystique of it so when someone wins they friggin' earned it because they worked hard to get there. I think the idea of people wanting a winner right off the bat is the reason why the other spin offs are not only dumb-down, but are ridiculed for being a poor excuse of a copy of a copy of Sasuke.

Looks much bigger to me There's also the issue of perspective, if anything seeing that picture makes the sweden version look easier than the anw gap because of what looks like an inch shorter horizontally

It's a big pull up, yes, but let's be fair here, that David Johansson guy looks like super buff. I'm pretty sure he must be 230 lbs lol. He was swinging wildly and stuff. However, even though Andre Sihm failed it too, he at least had better control and tried pulling up (albeit deadhanging).

As for the Cliffhanger, I think it's a fair progression over last year.
