If there was a list of All-Stars in ANW, which six should be a member? If I had one pick, it would obviously be Drew Dreschel. So make a list of six.

Trouble with ANW All Stars is that some of the best competitors have only been going two or three tournaments. Geoff, Isaac, Kevin, Abel, etc.
I think, were it an NBC-Created list, you'd see Isaac, Brian, Kacy, Drew, Joe, James.
You could judge it on long-serving competitors that helped establish the sport, meaning David, Drew, Brent, Paul, James and Ryan. Flip, Travis Rosen and a few others deserve places here too.
However, ANW is not Sasuke. The pool of noteable competitors who return every year is much larger, and most of them are still turning in strong performances (Even David Campbell will get going once he breaks Stage 1). It's much too early to choose all-stars, if you must do it at all, considering Bunpei first competed in Sasuke 9, and Nagano in Sasuke 7, and we haven't reached ANW 8 yet.
Personally, I'd rather it remained a Sasuke-only concept anyway. ANW just doesn't suit it.

Our consensus is that ANW is either not ready for "All-Stars", or the concept just wouldn't work altogether. But if I had to choose 6 [7], they would be Geoff Isaac Kasemir Moravsky Arnold Campbell [Drew]

Agreed with everyone that the Sasuke All-Star moniker is unique to just Sasuke. What it means in Sasuke is vastly different than what some people want it to believe otherwise. They were created to save a show after it lost it's main star in Kane Kosugi and it remained as a small group of Ambassadors to the show long after their glory days. Had it been a revolving door like some people think it is, we'd have about 15 people in it by now. ANW has a star status without having to muddy up the waters with trying to commandeer the name All-Star that already has a meaning. ANW's format and size of pool of incredible talent doesn't help either. If they plan to use any name at all, star and veteran are the only one monikers that I see would fit well.

Wait until Geoff beats the final stage in ANW8, then someone will have the consistency worthy of being an all star

Too many great ninjas to ever have a list that small =) If there was one,you deserve to be on it more than Issac. You hit every button,he didn't.I think they should only let people who clear qualifying to go to the city finals and ones who clear that go to vegas. It may seem unfair, but its more like Sasuke.

Yeah compared to Sasuke, ANW is still a very young show. The Sasuke All-Stars weren't an official "thing" until I think Sasuke 13 or 14.

Hmm I thought this thread was locked a while back when it was clear that the All-Star moniker doesn't fit well within ANW. Oh well just surprising it was resurrected again.

It'd definitely feature Isaac, Geoff and (I'm against it) Kacy, then maybe Drew Drescheru, David Campbell and Paul Kasemir. Knowing ANW they will probably introduce all-stars soon so Kacy can keep getting a free pass to finals but idk.

People bring up the point that it's too early to think about all-stars. If you're going by number of tournaments, yes. But if you're going by years, then no. If the All-Stars concept came about by Sasuke 14, that's 7 years in, the same place we are now in ANW.

Only since 2012 has Sasuke solely been once a year.

And Kunoichi.. and Banzuke before that and Sportsman #1.. yeah.. there was an established history for several tournaments across a number of shows that helped define what TBS' version of the All-Stars were. In addition, also the reason why TBS never added to the number and why they are not resurrecting it for this generation.
