The official YouTube channel updated with a bunch of videos of people running the "Challenge Course" while announcing the main event to be aired on the 16th of January? (Someone who understands Indonesian please check if I got that right or not?). 16th January? Which video announced this?

Today's episode finally aired the second stage, still no time limit. The second stage will be attempted by around 200+ contestants, so it might take around 4-6 episodes to finish... or so I think.
Obstacles featured : Long Jump, Log Grip, Yureru Hashi (called Shaking Bridge in the broadcast), and Soritatsu Kabe. Basically miniaturized version of Japan's 1st stage.
Soritatsu Kabe is limited to 3 tries.

I'm not sure if I like this. It doesn't seem to know what it wants to be.

Soooo how does this show work again? I see that there are five stages, but are any timed? So far, four obstacles per stage seems quite puny, and some make no sense. Why have ANW's cargo climb ON AN UNTIMED STAGE? There is literally no tension, and no possibility of failing, so stage 1 is essentially three obstacles instead of four.

Each country has their say on how they are going to run it. Even Vietnam that was a full sized course still had weird rules in how they ran things. I don't follow them in detail after a point and after seeing only a couple videos I wasn't impressed with how they ran it. Still, it's a way forward and it introduces another country to the Sasuke world. Only time will tell how much they develop.

Edit : Third Stage (Semifinal 1) has a time limit of 150 seconds. Obstacles : Pole Jump, Spider Walk, Monkey Peg, Balance Bridge, Unstable Bridge, Rope Ladder I'm re-upping the streams here, and it's official rcti.tv/streaming/Show airs every Sunday 4:30 PM GMT+7, rebroadcasts of last weeks episode on Saturday 4:30PM GMT+7.

It's been this way for a few weeks now. I wonder when they will air semifinal 2 and the final stages.

Can't believe this obstacle had taken a toll on some competitors:
Even unstable landing too:

Semifinal 2 aired today.
Looking on those obstacles, these obstacles should've been used on semifinal 1 instead of 2. Those monkey peg and unstable bridge were taking large tolls on the competitors...

Yeah, I agree. The obstacles I saw in semifinal 2 should be in semifinal 1, and they are similar to the ones in Sasuke Vietnam.
This example from one competitor sets it up easily:

Final Stage
- Devil Steps - Curtain Grip - Ring Toss - Cliffhanger - Salmon Ladder - Transitioning to Pipe Slider
Cliffhanger & Pipe Slider mainly taking the tolls, 3 made it to midoriyama. Highest competitor only went 20m.
Next week, we'll have a military special (member of the armed forces competing on the course)

I haven't seen the clips yet from YouTube. Where can I see some clips of the final stages?
This is the first time I have known that a Sasuke spinoff from the first season had competitors reaching the final stage.

The rest of the clips are up. Final Stage (Stage 3) The Shin Cliffhanger looks like it's using 6cm ledges for all of it, which I'm not happy about. However, I'm pleasantly surprised they used SCH for Season 1 versus Cliffhanger Kai like Vietnam.

It shakes up the stage in a positive way.
